@BigDickHertzer
As their commercial says, the NFL is gay now.
@BigDickHertzer
This is going to be a complete disaster for NFL especially on heels of Meyers antics.
The NFL is going Down hill so fast it's actually funny.Lets see how many people come out against the Woke NFL..as for me, they'll NEVER get another dime from me..Ever..
And Double, quit your BS attack...you should be the most happy as it makes the Raiders one less team to deal with as BILLS march to Super Bowl..
Terrible day for NFL..lots of folks are going to stop watching which means peeps will save their money and give up season tickets..and I'm not even a big Gruden fan..
Love reading these threads.. everyone shows their true character

It is not closer than appeared, it is already here. I personally now always think twice about a text or an email. You kinda mention it but I heard about this social credit score idea. Wow, that would be horrific. People fail to realize that so many wonderful and innovative people also have their off days and times where they say the wrong things.

He and everyone on his side provides zero thought. They just yell about racism

I don't follow those details, but I'm sure him resigning rather than waiting to be fired had a lot to do with $$$ and clauses in the contract.

In the normal world, resigning is the same as quitting, i.e. you get nothing in terms of severance from your employer.
Now Gruden for sure would have had some kind of standard of ethics clause in his employment agreement that would have stated he could be terminated with cause for a number of violations.
He likely came to an agreement with Davis over a severance amount and agreed to resign without prejudice which was his only way to see any of his remaining money. Gruden would know he will never work for any entity with direct or indirect connections to the NFL (and so would Davis) so a confidentiality agreement would certainly have been signed. Gruden will never say anything ever again about the emails and this would be why.
Gruden will go into proverbial hiding for a couple of years before his name resurfaces as a consultant of some kind.
Here’s my question… is what he did any worse than what some recently charged players did to women, children. They were fined, suspended but reinstated. They were all black and Gruden is not. Say what you want about that but it is what it is, it’s the truth. Today’s truth.

As a BILLS fan I never considered the Raiders a threat when Gruden was coaching ..My guess is they'll be better without him ..
The NFL is not the football we grew up watching , but it's only going to get more popular..Especially as more states legalize sports wagering

A lot of people in this thread were raised to believe that Trifecta was admirable...They have a hard time dealing with other racists and homophobes suffering the consequences of their poor actions ...

Let's not forget Michael Vick, what he did, how quickly he got reinstated, and then was once again uplifted as an NFL hero, as if his history of killing dogs was completely forgotten & forgiven...let his actions never be forgotten: he killed dogs as an underground sport for people to gamble on while he profited as the bookie
