Javonte Williams torn ACL. For a team that already can't run the ball this is a huge blow. More pressure will be put on Russ's shoulders and from the eye test he looks like he aged real quick. Another smart long term investment made in the NFL.

@Getty3
Yup if Lawrence keeps a grip on the ball they probably win. Big momentum swing up 14-0.
Nice stat on lions. Great over bet right now but how long does that last

@BIGDTITLE
Level of qb play in the NFL today a bit sad...altho its always had a bad bottom tier for the most part..always your top 10-12 but 24-32 always seem pretty bad, especially the past 5ish years

Russ was 33 when they gave him the contract extension, making his contract with DEN for 7 years. It just seemed stupid at the time and is looking more stupid as the season moves on.

KC now -180 to win West, still cheap IMO. They have another weapon in Pacheco
Tennessee down to +190 for South
Bengals at +165 for North, tempting me. Big game this Sunday night. May put some on them now to win because I still see them only improving

Crazy but true stat of the day :
Yesterday was the first time in 28 regular season games that the Bills won a game by less than 10 points. In the previous 27, they either won by double digits or lost outright.

Their insistence on using J Will as a complimentary back comes full circle. Aging out of fuel Mel Gordon has lost 4 fumbles in 3 games and now it's only him and castaway Mike Boone. I told anyone who would listen that Nate Hackett is a hack job. Hit the Peter Principle at offensive coordinator and now is totally under water as a head coach. Denver is a 7-10 team and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Some crazy stats posted in here today
The AFC West was the HUGE winner of the off-season.
All 4 teams were discussed as SB contenders.
Other than KC, the other 3 teams are all very flawed.
Just another example of how overrated FA signings are, with the exception of the Rams last year, almost all teams who win the off-season grossly under perform in the regular season.

Marcus Mariotta and Geno Smith are giving hope to all journey men qb's that it's never too late to bloom.
The Steelers next 4 opponents are Bills, Bucs, Dolphins, Eagles. Feel free to begin funeral arrangements at any time.
The Broncos injuries are piling up, and I agree with Getty's sediments about the team. Is a bet on the Colts in order? No one else will want to.
I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts on my Seahawks bet, the Saints are 1-3, coming back from England, and now laying 6. I may have gotten suckered.
The Packers run defense is a sieve, and face Saquon Barkley. They just had a 3rd string qb take them to OT, and are laying 9.5?

fellow degenerates - i hope you enjoyed the weekend. got a question for all you boozehounds in here - anyone have any experience with rum? been drinking bourbon for a long time but the price of everything keeps sky rocketing and to be honest, i'm a bit disappointed with how the industry is going. bourbon enthusiasts are one fart n sniff in a glass away from being wine snobs. on top of that, everything is becoming shitty non distller products with mgp overhyped bourbon. don't get me wrong, i love whiskey, but life's too short to focus on one vertical of booze.
so i hear rum has a plethora of flavors and profiles, all the while being quite affordable. anyone got any go to rums that you don't gotta break the bank on? i picked up a cruzan single barrel and was pretty impressed, but the finish was still a little too harsh for my liking. love the spice and cherry notes, all the while sweetness on the palate. i've been reading into cockspur 12, appleton products, rl seales, and el dorado. i'm not trying to get too into the weeds with sugar additives. i have a feeling this might be right up trainwreck's alley, or possibly getty

@OlDirtyBaztid
Don Papa out the Philippines is a pretty good dark rum, as is Diplomatico from Venezuela. Richland is a single-estate rum produced in Georgia, and it's a solid choice.

El Dorado is on my list for sure . I tend to stick to the puerto ricos / Cubans . Dont do Appleton much any more as I think Bacardi Gold is better and its one of my staples . Im not sure whats available to you but Flora de Cana 5-10 years is amazing as well as Havana Club 7 years . Price point is a big influence on all of these as I am a big rum drinker . I tried the so called expensive bottles and really didnt think it was on par

that's typically the case with anything expensive in the liquor industry. you have to hold it to a higher standard if you're going to pay a premium. and withhaving experience on so many different bargain buys, you just come to the realization that most of the expensive stuff is overhyped bullshit and good marketing unfortunately. been there and done that with cigars and whiskeys too many times when i was younger to fall for those traps now. lol. i'll probably have to search for havana club but we have every flor de cana from 4-25 years. thanks for the feedback. i do recall somewhere between the air fryer insults and the neighbor's iguana in a ferrari plays that you mentioned drinking rum often. ha. i've been reading a lot of good things about admiral rodney and am going to check that one out as well. i've gotta ask, why do you stay away from the barbadian and jamaican rums?
which don papa? looks like they have a couple different blends available. the one aged in oak barrels is interesting. but isn't rum typically aged in bourbon barrels, which is usually oak, to begin with? diplomatico looks fancy! they've got quite a catalog. the pot still has my attention. got some good feedback here. appreciate it!

Here's another vote for El Dorado from Guyana... I dated a lot of Caribbean girls in my 20s, from a wide experience of rums from many different countries, this one was always my favorite in my 30s when i went to parties or clubs, and rarely do i drink nowadays in my 40s, but if there's an open bottle of El D around and someone else is willing to offer me a glass with a Guyanese L'Chiam, i will never say no
