I am however feeling this monumental AFC wild card matchup of epic proportions. You can pretty much pencil the winner into the Super Bowl.

It's still too early but in my writeup I mentioned if you pressure Lawrence he's prone to making mistakes.

I wonder if the media will shit on Super Bowl Pederson for going for it on 4th and 7 instead of kicking the FG like they would with Staley.

 That write up in post #289 is playing out exactly how you said. Great stuff. If you could dive into other matchups like you do on your Chargers, that'd be wonderful. 

Fwiw:

In general power rankings,  the Bolts are the #7 1H team, and the Jags are #20.

But in the 2H they flip. Bolts #28, and Jags #6.

This is for the entire season. I could probably look up more recent stuff to see if both teams are still playing the 2H along the same path.

This could be a tale of 2 halves like the earlier game today.

Last 4 games of the year, in the 2H plus OT:

Epa on offense: Jags #13, Bolts #15

Epa on defense: Jags #1, Bolts #3

The Bolts drop back epa and success rate both #1 overall on D. And Jags drop back epa #2, success rate #11.

And Jags rush epa and success rate much better on D. I would guess the Bolts run more if they have a lead, and Jags throw if behind. 

This has me leaning under 2H.

Let me check pace stats in the 2H.

Jesus, the zone has Trevor completely confused. 

Looks like all teasers are getting blown to hell today.

The Chargers seconds per play in the 2H is 7th fastest at 26.7. But with a 7+ pt lead they are 20th at 30.25.

The Jags in the 2H are 16th at 27.92. If they are down by 7+ points they are 9th at 24.40.

 I seriously appreciate your initial handicap. That was stellar. Right now in the mains they are fleecing Trevor to no end. He should just fuckin quit playing football. In reality he has trouble with particular coverages and needs to work on that. You identified those problems and this spot was absolutely terrible for Trevor, today.

I don't know if my generic #'s are enough to make a bet for the 2H. Gonna run one more older system to see what I come up with. It's purely # based shit.

Inauspicious start to say the least. Just played Jax +14.5. Great number but maybe fool's gold. 

As Sac said the simple zone defense is a smart decision by SD given how they can pressure with just 4. It's not in Pederson's genes but he should try to play power running football for a while. The defense is showing their true colors but obviously have been put in a very bad position on most possessions.

I've seen too many games where it's been a tale of two halves, so while I'm feeling good I'm not gonna call it. For the 1H I'll call it though. Got the -0.5 and ML there, barring a collosal collapse. I'm only pissed I wussed out and bet ML for FG and didn't play more than a unit on each of those bets. Got my ass kicked earlier today tailing CBB plays. 

They need to have Etienne bounce outside and rips his runs there. That wthr Chargers weakness. The run defense actually does a decent job limiting runs inside.

Just an ass whooping going on here. Chargers winning doesn't surprise me, but the complete domination does. Need Jax to score to make the over 47 and maybe cover the 14.5 live bet. The outright result however is a done deal.
