Kellen Moore has an odd approach to play calling. Every time the Cowboys roll of a few good plays, he feels the need to call some semi trick weird evolving play that just ruins itself.

 Yes.  Was saying same thing.  Moving the ball with ease those first 2 drives.   0-2 on trick plays for no reason.   

btw.  Dak blows.  That is all 

As has been pointed out, Dak isn't real sharp ... yet.

When your O-line is limited it limits big play chances, thus the trick plays.

Starting 2 drives around their own 10 yard line has not helped their cause

In 2 hours the Cowboys might be in last place in their division.

Bigred will be jerking off the entire drive to NC.

Hopefully his wife remembered to pack wipeys, otherwise the steering wheel and windshield will be a little sticky.

The 2 offenses which had the worst yards per play on 1st down were the Cowboys and 49ers. They also had among the highest percentage of 1st down runs. They also combined to score a whopping 13 points. Good teams get creative on early downs. 

Old school = 3rd down conversions are key.

New school = Avoid 3rd downs by moving the chains on 1st and 2nd down.

Too soon to write the Cowboys off for the season? I think not. 

Seattle +6.5 tonite. Indy -4.5 next week. 

They had only 3 total penalties. 1 on defense for 5 yards. 1 on the place holder for throwing a towel on the field, and 1 for an intentional delay of game to run clock in the 4th quarter.

Teams that didn't play any starters in the pre season seemed to be disjointed and drew a ton of penalties. The Allen Iverson way is not conducive to the nfl.

I had written the Boys off before yesterdays shit show happened. Now with Cooper Rush behind a sub par O-line, with no WR who can get open, they will be lucky to score 17 points in a game for the next 6 weeks. 

I am not part of the anti-Jerry clan, but the roster as currently constructed (ie flawed) is solely on him and his son. The defense will be very good this year, but there is ZERO depth on the O-line and knowing that Gallup and Washington would miss time early in the year it was inexcusable to not go get a veteran WR. Instead they are playing undrafted rookies at a very important position. Dak was not good last night, but the average separation for his receivers from the nearest d-back was less than 1 inch. 

Eagles win that division by 3 games

 If Russ Wilson was QBing the Seadorks instead of Papa Geno, what would the line be? Seattle -3? There is no shortage of weapons in Seattle it's just the Russ revenge narrative. Not a fan of Pete Carroll but I give him a significant coaching advantage over Nate Nate full of Hate Hackett. I saw enough of Hackett as the OC in Jax to know he's easily beaten in a game of chess. This one is too easy but the masses see the opposite of reality.

The most intriguing line for week 2 is the Vikings opening +3 @ Philly. Now +1.5, and I suspect rightfully so.

Philly ran the ball on Detroit 39 times for a 5.5 average. 

GB ran the ball on Minny 18 times for a 6.7 yard average. 

I suspect the Eagles will bring their running brigade(qb included) in this one.

Phillies D looked suspect, and Minny's D looked stellar.

 Haven't looked yet but what's the total in that Philly/Minny game? 72? lol. I think that's a game between 2 division winners by year's end.

Justin Fields MVP? Or too soon? Bears are going to blow through their season win total of 4.5 like dust in the wind.

Jets catching 6.5 at your hated homies. Looking at the box score, NYJ beat or matched the Shrimp in almost every relevant statistic. Who the F are the Brownies laying a TD to anyone these days? Shrimp averaged less than 3 YPC vs. NYJ. Jets might be smart enough to play the same defense and force Brisket to beat them over the top which ain't happening. You're an asswipe but I love you just the same. Stop your bitching.

Massive overreaction to beating a Carolina team that played 1 half.   Browns did everything they could to lose as per usual.
