5PM EST wager for Cake. A soccer match. Racing Club (arguably the best sports name ever) vs. Lanus (arguably the worst sports name ever). I know nothing of soccer but this line yells at me Under 2.5 and collect your money. I will retire from soccer betting with a either a winless or undefeated record. That is how to be a gambler.

I really miss what this game of "gambling" used to be.
Call me old, or whatever, I just haven't figured shit out in this new age of sports betting. Don't know what to hang my hat on if you know what I mean.
When I hear regular people who've never bet before, talk about betting regularly(now), it pisses me off. Maybe I'm being immature or something else, but that used to be "my baby". Now everyone is doing it.
I can't believe that any of the info we get now is remotely close to accurate. Unreal if you think ESPN is giving you the details on the handle of a game.

You're way too smart to get involved with the who bet who crowd. Use your instincts first and last using data in between. If nothing else just tail Hugh for a few weeks (maybe not as he's due for a rough stretch). Or just fade Shrimp as he's usually wrong except for Ravens games. Hang in there, all is fine.

Agreed... loved playing Poker/Hold Em until every douche with sunglasses thought they were Chris Moneymaker. Loved Fantasy, played since mid 90's before any site on the internet had it, guy made his own site to track stats/FA's/standings. Then everyone thought they were a genius when their 'sleeper' turned into a star (who was also on a million other teams) and every player began scoring points if they stepped foot on the field. Same thing happening with sports cards. Kids used to scrounge money to buy some packs, now teenagers are walking around with suitcases with 100K worth in them and flipping like they are nothing. Gambling is next, Ohio will be legal probably mid-2022. I'll be backing away from it eventually just like the prior things. Bottom line is, people ruin everything

I did fantasy for 15 years, ran my own league. Stopped 3 years ago. Completely lost interest.
I also played hold em here n there(before it was popular), then frigin EVERYONE played during that span where it was cool as shit. I found myself at the table trying to do everything I could to just lose and get the hell out of the game.
Remember when tattoo shows started hitting tv? Everyone and their momma started getting tattoos.
In fishing(now this is going to get boring), apps like fishidy, lake link and other ones will completely ruin a hot spot lake. Lakes that only very few knew about would draw people in droves to the happening spot and completely wipe out the fish.
Like you said, people ruin everything

I can't tell you how many times I'd get dragged into a game and just go all-in every hand so I could lose and go do literally anything else.
