i agree and purdy on the road is something i'm willing to pay to see. first road game for this kid, who still makes mistakes at home. he basically hasn't had any pressure or played from behind yet. let's see how he does against the seahawks. he's got everything to prove and is in the spotlight, much like when he was in heisman/top 10 pick talks his senior year. kid threw up on himself nearly every game.
Not to mention Lil' Shanny vs. Bowles last week was a cat playing with a crippled mouse. A mellow stoned Bowles, hands crossed, glassy eyed staring at the scoreboard as it kept flipping higher and higher numbers for the home team. Old Surfer Pete presents a much more accomplished opponent across the chess table.

The Lions last road game was at this very same stadium. Albeit vs a different team, there must be a plus to being familiar with the venue no?
I've watched the lions/vikings and Jets/Bills games from last week twice now.
Both teams are playing their asses off.
Maybe I just stay with my initial thoughts at the beginning of the week, and stay away from bets.
If the line hits 2.5 I may play the Lions though. Neither team should be laying points in this spot imo.
On another note, I have just realized that the Seahawks fit a simple method that I've used in the beginning of the year that hit at a great rate.
Back when we didn't know much about anything about all the teams, I'd simply play a team if they were at home, had the better qb, were getting points, and had a harder sos.
All though the Niners past schedule by dvoa is #29, and Seattle's is #31. Pretty close. Other sites sos rankings are pretty much the same.
Missed the hook on Seattle, think I'd play them if that # shows up again.

Possibly lots of novices just see home Team with a better overall record playing in a much more challenging division (this year anyways) as a PK and think it’s a safe bet?
