So, let the media game begin about the Cowboys. I've all ready seen an article titled, "Should Mccarthy keep his job". I didn't read it.
On the radio I heard someone say that "The Cowboys need to move on from Dak". Ok, he's 71-40 as a Cowboy. One bad game and it's time to dump him, got it.
Albeit someone here at the Newsletter also said something similar about Justin Fields after 1 poor game, I'll let it slide. Different situations for both teams.
The point being, also consider that the Dolphins just won 30-0. Where did this line open and how much value will we get(if not all ready)?
I will most definitely go over the #'s of the "Mccarthy after a loss" trend.

Wow. So local Dallas radio has bled to chi town radio I see? We hear that weekly around here. Do I think Dak is the guy to deliver a SB? No. And I’ve stuck by that for years but the guy was having an MVP season until yesterday so that’s a bit of an over reaction but that’s typical after a bad loss. When we lose in the playoffs then it’s time to have a real convo because failure will then be a trend

Through 15 weeks(14 games), no defender has been called for unnecessary roughness against Justin Fields.
This has been a sidebar on Chicago funeral radio today. There have been a handful of slides he's gotten whacked and no calls.
After seeing the calls against Josh Allen yesterday, the league needs to emphasizing equal treatment amongst ALL quarterbacks. It's either a penalty or it's not.
Then also consider that half the starters across the league are injured currently.

I mentioned this about a month ago and it should be heard again. Through week 15 The Jets are still on track to have the worst offensive EPA since the advanced stat was created in the year 2000. Other teams are playing 2nd,3rd, and even 4th string QBs and still finding a way to be somewhat competent. Heck the entire Ravens offense is on IR and still scoring points. Yet Nathaniel Hackett somehow continues to hide in the weeds from the media scrutiny. Hackett doesn't have a race card to play, so the Aaron Rodgers card works just as well. It's disgusting.

How dare anyone say anything other than “the Ravens are the best team”
You are nothing more than the typical radio-call-in obnoxiously biased fan boy, who is so blinded by his own fan hood, that he is not capable of seeing reality

Same with running backs. The key to drafting good O-linemen is to concentrate on the midwestern corn fed guys, the Deep South biscuits and gravy guys, and the Pacific Islanders. It's really that simple.

Jax pressured the pocket over 40% of the time last night and got 3 sacks. Any other QB it would have been twice that much. Lamar is still a slippery SOB but his inability to see a receiver before the receiver gets to a spot is still why they're doomed in the playoffs. Hugh brought up a similar observation about Justin Fields. Nobody anticipated a route better than Brady.

Very good comparison.
Lamar has been in the league for 6 years.
Justin 3 years.
For the most part, no one really talks about Lamar having this deficiency.
Those same people are ready to give up on Justin Fields. Is there no chance he improves?

While you and other's make hay about what he can't do I'll stand with him and his 55 - 19 record and when all is said and done isn't winning the bottom line. BTW i think it would be a mistake to give up on Fields.

@bigred84 There's a guy on aisle 5 who says that vinyl floors don't feel like real wood. Convince him otherwise. He's a difficult sell but I know you can do it.

If the Bears can't pull off a trade for the #1 pick that doesn't allow them to draft Harrison Jr. then it's a waste. If they stand pat, draft Harrison #1 overall and use their own pick for the best OL available. You can worry about the defense later. You have to get the offense right first.
