Tannehill might even be able to put up points on the Chargers D...
You think Tannehill is Tua? Tanny doesn't blow, but I just don't think you have to put in as much resources game planning around him as you would with Tua or any other top tier QB.
Splendid job, Sac. Agree on Cinci and Chitown being bet on teams this week. But to me the big bet is on Tennessee +3/ML.
Based on what I wrote in the post above, would love to know what you see in that game that makes you think the Tians win. I get that the Chargers D got torched last week, but they got mainly killed on those Hill crossing routes. (I still can't believe they didn't make adjustments there.)
The Titans don't have a WR that come close to what Hill does, and even if Hopkins plays, I don't think he's the type of WR that can take over a game anymore. The Titans might be able to run on the Chargers D-line, but it has improved their run defense this year.
My concerns with the Chargers, though, are the following:
In danger of not suiting up Sunday: Joey Bosa, Eric Kendricks, and Austin Ekeler
The one that concerns me the most is Kendricks because I aboslutely hate Kenneth Murray, especially when dropping back in coverage. Just no awareness or instincts whatsoever, imo.
Tuli Tuipulotu, the Chargers 2nd round pick last year, has looked excellent in limited playing time last week, and in pre-season. He's obviously not starting over Bosa and Mack, but he's been rotating in and putting in pressure. I actually wouldn't sweat it much if Bosa couldn't play.
Ekeler is the wildcard because, while I have faith in Kelley & Spiller/Dotson in our current blocking scheme, I still don't know how this affects the run game. Neither is as good as Ekeler.
I just thinking the Chargers passing offense comes alive next week. I can also see the Over in play here.
