No nickname has been used more than Cardinals in the history of the NFL. Chicago, St. Louis, Phoenix, and after moving to the suburb of Glendale... the Arizona Cardinals. Going south of someone here but Ty Hill Under 94.5 rec yds and Jay Waddle over 67 rec yards. Also Bills +2.5/ML for game. I'm not high on Buff long term but they seem to be in the best spot for this short week game. Is Near East brand rice pilaf the greatest home cooked side dish? Asking for any wrong opinions if not.
Great call, missed this post earlier

I always kinda liked Tua and he's proven he has heart, he could and should have slid, but man the dude's skull is thin. Watching replays he hit the guy in the arm and chest then his head barely hit the ground. Dude should call it a wrap. Phins should call in Joey Flacco ( if he's in any kind of shape) he'd have fun throwing to those receivers.

Wow. Did not have that on the old bingo card. Philosophy nerd. Don't know what ism I fall under. Never studied it, I'm a math nerd. Give me a calculus/linear algebra text and I'm in my element.
Favourite authors of mine - Michael Lewis and Don Winslow.

Can't go wrong with Seuss.

Yeah, although as I said, my pursue of it is limited, reading wise (I don't think I could read Kant or Heidegger), I did found a more suitable alternative: podcasts. Imo the best podcast out there, on philosophy, is Philosophize This, the guy doing it is awesome. I have read books on the history of philosophy, a couple of books on stoicism, so I know quite well the trajectory of philosophy, through time. Fe a great book I read earlier this year: Doubt: A History by Jennifer Hecht, which tracts the history of doubt, from the pre-socratic era until the 20th century, in Western philosophy, as well as Eastern philosophy.
Stoicism just works for me and my character traits, because it can be reduced to a simple sentence: In life you need to concentrate only on the things you can control. On its face this is such a simple sentence, yet in reality to be able to live like that would be a tremendous achievement, especially because where our societies are right now. For me it's rather simple though, I never had any sort of social media, which is just a cesspool of human misery, so I don't need outside validation, for anything I do, nor do I feel the need to brag about anything. To put it another way, I don't live in anticipation of other people's approval of me...
Ugh, maths... for me it was ruined by a professor in High school, and I could never recover from that, which ultimately hurt me at University, in passing a couple of exams. Figures you're interested in betting though, you must be quite analytical. I know who those guys are, never read anything from them, but I have watched The Blind Side, Moneyball and The Big Short, really loved the last 2.
In terms of authors, when it comes to fiction I've only read a handful of books, in English, everything else I've read in my native language. As for non-fiction, all the books have been in English. Last summer I did manage to read an awesome fiction book, and I consider it to be a personal achievement: Infinite Jest, some parts of it are fucking brutal, but David Foster Wallace knew how to write. I discovered him from this:
I highly recommend everyone here listens to this, it will surely be worth your time.

For those of us lovin on the Gettys this week, please be aware that in week 1 T Lawrence had the 2nd highest % of inaccurate throws, only trailing Bryce Young

And that, in it of itself, is sad for the league....
I believe this will be a down year for the league...some really mediocre talent and teams out there...I just don't see a lot of stand outs or much happening on some of these teams...seems more recreational than professional...something just off for me, or is it

The Jags offense doesn't know it's potential yet. The Brownies will never hit their potential with DeFraud Watson. Between both teams being much stronger on the defensive line of scrimmage than offense (assuming the Browns OTs are still not playing), this shapes up to be a defense first game. Bet the under 42.5 and move on.
