Onward and upward ...

Rams -2 @ Sea

The famous Seattle 12th man is more a myth than a reality. Seahawks are terribly flawed, but Russ is always a threat to win a game single handedly. Rams fresh off a emotionally flat game, in which Stafford layed an enormous egg with the worst performance in his young Rams career. Hawks need the game to stay in playoff contention. Rams need the game to stay in 1st place contention. Initial lean is on the Rams, who I still feel are the most complete team in the NFL.

NYJ vs Atl -3 in London

Nice of the NFL to ship our trash to another country. By this time next year it will be easy to say that the NYJ have the better QB in this match up. Not quite ready to make that claim yet. If this was a 1:00pm start I wouldn't bet it with Biscuits money, but offer me some 9:30am degen action and I will figure something out.

This opened at 4, and I'm surprised it has come down. I am high on this Panther team, and absolutely love their coaching staff. Line looks a little short. I had it at 5. I'm missing something here.

NO.O -2 @ WFT

The no O Saints travel to DC to play the most over rated defense in recent memory. It's a battle of ineptness.

Tenn -4 @ Jax

One of these days I will bet on the Getty's ... don't know if it's this Sunday. Tenn D is terrible. The #1 overall with the flowing locks is starting to adjust to the speed of the NFL. Concern is that the manimal who totes the rock for the Titans will go for 250 yds.

Lions play hard, they just lack talent. Vikings MUST win this game.

Don't know the status of Teddy B. If he plays I will be on the Elways.

GB -3 @ Cin

Interesting match up. Last 2 games Packers D has player better, which means that DC Joe Barry is due to show the world why he is the worst DC in the NFL. Bengwads with extra days to prepare and heal. Burrow has that IT factor.

NE -9 @ Hou

Pats finally showed a little creativity on offense on SNF. Guess is they go back to the ultra conservative approach they have previously employed. Texans were humiliated last week. If they had some talent, which they don't, and a capable HC, which they don't, they would be a dog that comes out barking. Hard game to bet either side.

Chi @ Raiders -5.5

Initial lean on LVR. Doesn't matter who is under center for Da Bears. Only concern is that this is another short line.

Cle -1 @ LAC

Great game. I have been on the Herbert bandwagon with my pompoms, but this is a very difficult spot for this team. Plus, their O-line had a myriad of assignment issues on MNF. At least 6 times Herbert took a big hit because of a missed assignment. That is not a good thing when about to face the BWS's D front. Just a warning about recency bias ... in the last 2 weeks the Browns D has mauled the Bears and the Vikings, giving up a total of 13 points. Let's not forget this same defense gave up 21 to Houston and 29 to KC in the first 2 weeks. Side note on a scheduling quirk ... Cle plays the Shrimp in week 12, has their bye in week 13, then plays the Shrimp again in week 14. Don't think a team has ever played the same opponent in consecutive weeks in the regular season.

NYG @ America's Team -7

This line opened at 8, and was quickly bet down to 7. HMMMMMM. The Boys are rolling, but divisional games are always a concern for the favorite. NY starting to get healthy. Dal is still missing a lot of key pieces on defense, including 6 DL (3 starters), starting Lber, starting Safety, and rotational CB. (wanted to add the injury list for the benefit of Bigred. Everyone else disregard)

SF @Ari -5.5

Another interesting game. Expect Cards to be flat after last weeks game. Keeping an eye on SF QB situation. Strong initial lean to the 9ers.

Buff @ KC -3

This line can also be found at 2.5. This week offers a couple of great match ups, and this is one of them. Any value to be found in the line betting on the Bills evaporated over the last 3 weeks when the Bills have scored 35, 43, and 40 points. In that same stretch they have 2 shutouts. Expect the Bills to be a popular pick. They will get the very best of KC this week. Bills are the better overall team, but it's a good spot for KC.

Anyone thinking of betting on the BILLS this week better check the injuries later in the week ..Probably smart to wait close to kickoff sunday ...Matt Milano left Sunday's game with an apparent hamstring issue , he was rated #1 at LB by PFF over the first 3 weeks ..If he is out the BILLS pass coverage at LB will be average at best ...Jordan Poyer sat out last week , we is another very important piece ...

We saw what the Bungals D was able to do to Big Ben at home, I can only imagine what Denver will do to that statue. But yes, would prefer to see Teddy 2 Gloves play first

This Urban Meyer incident is taking on a life of it's own. A few sane people defending him against the unwarranted hysteria, but the masses are all waiting at the front door with flaming pitchforks in hand. Disgusting.

I already locked in the Raiders. Only hesitation is that they might be starting a practice squad player in their secondary, along with a player that was only there for depth

Everytime the Yanks play in one of these 1 game eliminators they tend to go over.

No not at all. His comfort zone has always been Columbus and most of his family still live there. My son lives there (not by choice but his current airline hub is there)  and I've been there twice. It's a cool city that revolves around the university. Meyer is a larger than life figure in town and he enjoys it. The bar he was at is his own. He'll get bored in Jacksonville because it's not a college city.
