Some rambling thoughts as we close out week 6:
We are exactly 1/3 of the way through the regular season, and there is only ONE undefeated team. That's right, the Dallas Cowboys, America's Team, the team that some of you love to hate, is 6-0 ATS. This is a gambling site, so ATS is the most important stat.
Other ATS notes:
GB 5-1
Indy 4-2
Philly 3-3 (somehow)
Shrimp 3-3
Chi 3-3
Det 3-3
Hou 3-3
TB 2-4
It's worth pointing out that some of the leagues worst teams are 3-3 ATS.
Thoughts from yesterday ...
I felt Miami was WAYYYYY over valued coming in to the season, and they have proven me right. They suck!
T Lawrence will be a really good QB one day, but that team is void of talent in a big way.
Sam Darnold is back to being the Sam Darnold of NYJ fame.
GB just finds ways to win, as most good teams do.
Sense that the wheels gonna fall off soon for Da Bears.
Cinci is a team on the rise, but they are not there yet.
Texans are the least talented team in recent memory, plus their HC has no business being a HC. None!
Shrimp caught the LAC at the right time. Still an impressive showing by their defense.
That vaunted much ballyhooed WFT defense, that had many predicting they win their division, has given up more points than any other team in the NFL. Let that sink in for a minute.
Cards are very good. I was wrong about them.
Brownstains have tremendous individual talent, but doubtful they ever put it all together on the field. Mayfield is Mayfield. Showed physical toughness yesterday, but also proved once again he is a middle of the pack QB.
Raiders collectively gave the middle finger to Gruden yesterday. It's possible that was a one game thing, or it might carry them to the playoffs. Something to keep an eye on.
Steelers and Seahawks both stink
