I may be late on this one, but isn't the line fair though? Sale hasn't shown he is really back, to his prior injury form, he also has horrendous numbers in the postseason, with a ERA of 7.27 in 26 innings...

Haven't made any bets this postseason, but I'm really surprised how poor, the Rays and the Brew Crews pitchers were, especially Milwaukee, given how dominant their pitching was, starters and bullpen, during the regular season.

I say the Astros are favorites, to reach the WS, for Boston to have a chance they need the same display, as in the series with Tampa, from their bullpen, because Astros have a better one. I don't see how the Braves can stop the Dodgers, from reaching another WS, they are superior to Atlanta in every aspect of the game.

 Sorry sac, didn't mean to jinx it for you, I didn't even make a bet on it... the most important thing did held, Huston bullpen > Boston bullpen, and although both teams had traffic on bases, Red Sox finished 1 for 9 with RISP, while Astros with 0 for 7, with the long ball making the difference.

Anyways, I will also stay away from baseball, last night maybe I just made a lucky guess...

 Huge---I admit it was tongue-in-cheek, but, just my opinion, Cora should have been banned from baseball and the Houston "championship" removed from the record books. There is no doubt he is the modern day poster boy for cheating. He and the Astros admitted as much in exchange for immunity. And, let's face it, the "championship" he won with Boston doesn't pass the smell test either. That said, I am grateful to you and our friend Getty for picking up the best thread on Covers and running with it in the absence of the immortal ClubDirt. I'll stop cluttering up the thread with the debris that runs through my mostly empty head. Thank you.

Stop being so hard on yourself Ken...this is the best thread on the internet and your thoughts are articulate and are most welcomed here ....if anything you should post more
