However, I have started to wonder about that call Hackett made in Game One opting for a 64 yard long-shot field goal instead of putting the ball in the hands of their new franchise quarterback, Russell Wilson. It was a short sighted decision to obtain him anyways. The Colts keep looking for an old statue to regain his younger form and it ain't happening. If I were a Colts fan I'd be applauding this move.

agreed......this team has been lost since losing Manning and Luck.  Has to be frustrating being a fan of this team with so much potential and in such a winnable division but they simply can't get that 1 position right.

I feel like life for the pure pocket QB's like Ryan, Brady, Rogers, Wentz, Flacco and even Russ is hard these days for a couple reasons. 

1. Defenses have been breeding their pass rush for these type of passers for a few years now. Mostly due to analytics identifying the pass as more efficient to running the ball.

2. Offensive linemen have more on their plate than in years past with blocking schemes. Today it's rpo's, run blocking from shotgun in a 2 pt stance, jet sweeps, zone reads etc... Perhaps the time in practice is cut short for touching up on the regular ole pass protections for the pocket passer.

The Falcons look ahead line vs Carolina was -7. Got bet down to 6, McCaffrey got traded, back to 6.5.

Now that ATL lost, and Carolina's miraculous win as a 13 pt dog to TB, the line is 4.5.

Let's stick with my initial thoughts on this game. The Pats will try to run early and often, and should with success against this Bears shitty run D. Why risk Mac Jone's confidence after missing a few games by letting it rip threw the air? Bill knows he can win this game by grinding it out the ole fashion way.

I'd be shocked if the Bears find a way to score and play with a lead in Foxboro for more than 25% of the time.
