Looks like lane Johnson may play for the eagles. Huge if he goes even at less than 100% Slay may play as well Still kinda like phins but I'm guessing that's why line back to +2.5
I've been thinking about this game. And I think that the Dolphins are fools gold this week.
We all know that their offense is a monster, #1 per dvoa and well ahead of any other offense. But they don't do anything else well.
#27 on defense per dvoa. They can't rush the passer, and that's when Hurts struggles, vs pressure.
#30 on special teams. Poor coverage and shitty kicking isn't a good strategy vs good teams. To the Phins credit, they don't punt much.
And last but not least, #32 sos thus far. Who the fuck have they played that's worth a shit?
Chargers, an average, maybe above average team. Phins won 36-34.
Patriots, then Broncos.
*The Bills, now that's a decent team last I checked. Phins lost 20-48.
Giants, then Panthers.
Now they have to go into Philly on Prime time, after Philly lost to the Jets. No thank you.
Also, what will the weather be? This might be the Phins first cold or windy or rainy game this year. Or all of the above. For a team who practically puts all their proverbial eggs in the "offensive" basket, I wouldn't want to lean on that.
I'm not a Jalen Hurts fan, nor am I a Nick Sirianni fan. But I'd bet em here on discount.
