It's pretty hard trying to win $ by being mediocre in this racket.

The turning point in that MLB game yesterday was when Altuve hit a rocket low liner with 2 on no one out down the 3rd base line. The 3rd baseman made a good snag. It felt like the Astros were on the verge of busting that game open nearly every inning. In hindsight, batting Greinke 8th kind of rendered Guriel absolete in the 7 hole. I wonder why he's hitting so low when Bregman is struggling mightily in the 4 hole, and he took a pitch off the foot 2 games ago.

For football, Cinci 1Q up to -3(-120) at 2 books. In your guys honest opinion, do I try to middle if it hits +3.5 before kickoff? My gut is telling me to. But if I was generally right about my original handicap....

 Doubtful they go to 3.5 on that 1st Q line and open themselves up to a middle on 3. 
More likely they stay at 3 and just juice it if necessary. 
With that said, always middle at least part of a wager if that middle falls on a 3

 i wouldn't on a first quarter bet. that's hard, man. not enough margin. need a solid 3-4 points for me to consider it. i would rather look at your bet like this, you have built up equity. don't take that away from your bet with a second in my opnion
