I can see clearly now the rain has gone...
I truly believe that watching any sport, with regularity is the key to handicapping. More so with the NFL than other sports. All the stats and analytics are cool, and have their place. But watching(and knowing what's going on) with an unbiased eye is crucial.
After watching the 49ers/Bears game last week I was on AZ this week, by my eyes alone. Then some #'s crap(including injuries ) kept me away.
I think it's safe to say that injuries in 2021 have been a terrible outlier to line changes so far.

Few have "an unbiased eye", which is why most always lose gambling.
Stats and trends that are meaningful have already been baked into the lines. Their value has been decided by people/computers much smarter than the rest of us. Most look at NFL gambling as a science, when the reality is that it's more of an art.
IMO, the keys to successful gambling are:
1) remain unemotional to any specific game or outcome
2) remember that the vast majority of games in which you bet are decided by 1 or 2 plays, and luck plays a part in that
3) never underestimate the value in buying low and selling high
4) when something looks too good to be true it usually is
5) there is no rule, method, or theory that is 100% so stay with what works for you even if it isn't profitable in the short run
6) if you wear your overly emotional, totally biased heart on your Ngata jersey sleeve, you will get your balls broken

Raiders sign DeSean Jackson.
They also released 2020 1st round CB Damon Arnette, who was universally thought to be a HUGE reach to be drafted in the 1st round ... everyone except Mayock and Gruden.
I just read that Arnette, who was known to have maturity issues, crashed 4 rental cars last year within 1 month

Rule 5 is especially important .You have to get back on the horse regardless of past outcomes . If you bet accordingly ( Same amounts ) it should get you there if that makes sense . If not then oh well . I never raise my bet amounts as Im a RJ Miller disciple and my bank never gets that big as this is a hobby for me .
Rule 6 is just grinding Hugh....I love it

How do you fight a gay guy?
"I'm gonna fuck you up" no
"I'm gonna kick your ass" nope
"I'm gonna break your balls" no again
There's no easy way out.

How bad are the Jaguars receivers?
In pre-season they brought in unproductive first round busts Laquon Treadwell, Philip Dorsett, and Tavon Austin. Then they traded a #9 overall pick for a backup tight end. Today they signed Sheriff John Brown who never met a hamstring injury that he didn't milk for time off. And for over a decade the team has ignored the receiver position in the draft. I'm sure Breshad Perriman is coming in hot next week.
Build your offense through the draft and use free agency to fill the gaps on defense. Very simple, very effective strategy except for this clown show.

I had no idea that Tavon Austin was still in the NFL.
He was old and ineffective when he played for Dallas, and that seems like it was 5 years ago

Has anyone seen the video that idiot Arnette posted that got him released? He is pointing numerous guns while telling someone that was in his DM's that he was going to kill him. You can't coach the dumb out of people

Damn this thread finally got good
Trainwreck66 speaking to BWS, as mustard drips down the side of his mouth:
"How do you know that the owners of this hotdog stand are gay?"
BWS: "These hot dogs taste like shit"

College coaches aren't going to tell the truth to pro scouts about these guys. The scouts can ask but they're not going to get a straight answer. Too much at stake.
