So after today's Hall of Fame Game, I suspect that the Bears SB odds will shoot up to around -220 or so
All I read was that a bear was shot and I started to realize, this ain't no zoo...and then I saw SB and thought Safety for Bears is an organization I could get behind and become really grizzly about...

what's up witht he onside kick rule changes? just... why? -they're now illegal before the 4th quarter -team must be losing to kick an onside kick -team must announce that they are kicking the onside kick beforehand?
I believe it has to do with the league trying to force more kickoff returns while allegedly protecting the kickoff return people from injury. I think I read somewhere that NYG owner Mara pushed this through. Check out the new kickoff return rules. That is what is responsible for the rules de-emphasizing the onside kick. Wait until the math majors on the special teams have to execute this.

The Niners downfall slowly begins. Can't sign players that a worth it cause their money is tied up. And they gave up a ton of draft picks the last 3 years

Do they have to really worry about Denver & Seattle.

Whenever people think a team isn't good, watch em be good. Just because.

The Bears will be on Hard Knocks. A whole lot of folks are going to have a hard on for em. That's all I really have so far despite the extensive research and sleepless nights since February. Which team will kick ass this year that no one expects? That's the best value to get, if anyone is privy to such a team, alla the 2023 Texans. For predicting on which team/teams will suck when everyone expects them to be awesome, I'll start with the Eagles and 49ers. Get er done fellas
Thinking I found the team for 2024. And they go by the name of the Commanders.
Jayden Daniels is ripping up camp. If his college talent transfers to the nfl, watch out.
Looking at the roster, it looks solid imo. Additions like Austin Eckler, Zack Ertz, and Bobby Wagner offer veteran leadership. They may be on the tail end of their careers physically.
The offense could be dangerous.
And the nfc east won't be difficult. You know how I feel about the Eagles. The Cowboys are Jeckyl N Hyde. The Giants are going to suck I think.
What do you guys think?

It's hard to support the Commandos given different factors...they haven't been relevant for so long and are considered the wet dog of the NFL...you know, that stink and smell wet dogs have and then hoping that when he comes near you that he doesn't shake and get that water on you....that's Washington right now for me...they have good stretches for a few games but can't sustain it...too many brain farts...they need some team viagra...

But at least they got a major stink out of the house by getting rid of Ron Rivera.
In comes a credible coach in Dan Quinn. Liked by players and he's a defensive guy.
He made Joe Whitt his DC, someone who's familiar with him working together in Dallas and Atlanta. Whitt was the defensive backs coach and passing defense coordinator in that time. He did a good job, in particular last year with the cowboys as their pass defense was extraordinary. Also, Ken Norton is on the staff as their linebackers coach.
On offense, Kliff Kingsbury is the OC. We all know that he's a failed nfl coach. It's just that some dudes are better suited as a coordinator, and I think he is one of them. He's also a dude who has coached Patrick Mahomes in college.
So they have a new staff, and we're 1 year out of Daniel Snyder owning the team. Things can't stay the same for ever. No way of really knowing till we see it though.
All I'm saying is, yea I'll probably take them +anything early in the season vs whoever.

Fair take.
