Not to poop on Commanders but it will be their offense that has to carry the day. D gave up on avg.126 on the ground and 262 thru the air for 389 total which landed them dead last. Now I did not look further and there may be a few defensive stats that could show promise and new DC is a start.

@ABooksNightmare Fair take. But at least they got a major stink out of the house by getting rid of Ron Rivera. In comes a credible coach in Dan Quinn. Liked by players and he's a defensive guy. He made Joe Whitt his DC, someone who's familiar with him working together in Dallas and Atlanta. Whitt was the defensive backs coach and passing defense coordinator in that time. He did a good job, in particular last year with the cowboys as their pass defense was extraordinary. Also, Ken Norton is on the staff as their linebackers coach. On offense, Kliff Kingsbury is the OC. We all know that he's a failed nfl coach. It's just that some dudes are better suited as a coordinator, and I think he is one of them. He's also a dude who has coached Patrick Mahomes in college. So they have a new staff, and we're 1 year out of Daniel Snyder owning the team. Things can't stay the same for ever. No way of really knowing till we see it though. All I'm saying is, yea I'll probably take them +anything early in the season vs whoever.
And they need to go back to the Redskins and the old design...one of my favorite designs ever, just down from the old Patriots logo with the patriot hiking the ball...that is my all time favorite...for old logos it goes Patriots, Redskins and Oilers...and a close fourth, a bloody rim of the nose

Whenever people think a team isn't good, watch em be good. Just because.

They will benefit from the aide provided to Ukraine as they use non NATO money to secure the perimeter...they may have a chance if they use both real grass and artificial turf on their field where they get to rotate it to benefit them based on time, wind, rain and dew point...it'll be the most unique field in the game..Redskins, not just for your feet anymore

When he is done someone tell coach to remain incroached position for the rest of Raven Nation who would like a crack at that ass for his role in helping to deprive the team a shot at the super bowl. NEXT.

Here's an article explaining how good Aiyuk actually is. Most folks don't see it because he's #2 on the list with the niners playing 2nd fiddle to Deebo Samuel. Amongst other good weapons on the team.
He scored a 92.3 by pff last year. Most definitely an elite wr.

Ai yuk is a great receiver...I was happy when I heard the Raiders were going to pick him up but that went away as fast as Bruce Jenner on a wheaties box...
Raiders keep continuing to disappoint me for the last 100 dog years

The 2 issues with Aiyuk have been his maturity, and his lack of discipline running routes.
Couple years ago Shanahan was asked why Aiyuk was not seeing the field more, given his obvious physical talents. He responded honestly (refreshingly so) and said that Aiyuk would not consistently run the route he was supposed to. There were also reports that he was not the most coachable player.
For whatever reason, all of that seemed to change last year.
One thing to keep in mind, Aiyuk was still the 4th best option on the 9ers last year, behind Deebo, Kittles, and CMC. Being the 4th option opens up a lot of matchup advantages.

Also, the Niners are going to have to pay Brock Purdy at some point.
Nothing is going well for them early on. And they'll be favored to start the season. I'm seeing -4.5 vs the Jets at home on MNF. Considering that the Jets are getting a ton of high rankings of nearly all their units, how is that a dog you couldn't back?
