That is a long term chart of US domestic oil field production. I have little confidence you will even look at the chart so I will spell it out for you. US production during the terror Bush years, the Clinton years, the Bush light years and some of Obama was flat to declining for 25 years. Not until ZIRP came onto the stage in full force in 2008 (the chart shows the full low and then the move to increasing) did oil production start its climb higher. So why did oil not explode when Texas boys were in office for 12 years, and actually decline? That is anti-American...no way would good ole boys terror Bush and Bush II not ramp production, and they are GOP too...how is that possible?
Our economy is based on a capitalism/monopoly concept..so oil companies dont give two sh!ts who the POTUS is, that matters zero especially since OPEC is a cartel and controls global supply. Oil companies care about profits and costs..nothing else in the universe matters and that includes McDonalds POTUS, so please learn something here and stop with the Trump nonsense.
Oil production went up from good ole Obama years and continued even when prices were coming down during the dark big mouth years until what? What happened to stop the straight line higher in production? Cap costs...the FED began to raise rates and we had an oil supply shock which took the price of crude under zero and in the process lots of little to mid size frackers got knocked out- KNOCK. BUT if you look at that chart, the decline into the increase in finance costs AND the oil shock was minor until other players stepped into the chasm and started producing. The lead time for that shock and the drop in prices means that production will take 6-9-12 months to show that in domestic output, it takes time to get permits, lay the production ground work and see production results.
Now even with higher finance costs, the increase in crude prices has given incentive for companies to increase capacity, so they are producing at high rates where in the past with lower prices companies will slow down the production as to help supply drop and prices to go up. The news has reported and that chart shows that domestic supply within the last few weeks is at an ALL TIME HIGH. So how is that possible? A dufus is in the office, the GOP cant get a speaker, the greatest McDonalds Grimace is no longer in charge so how is this even possible?
