Bottom line is that it doesn't matter that his thread got boxed. It's a moot point. He could have just as easily started a new thread. Unfortunately, he decided to go ahead and break a cardinal rule around here. So him starting a new thread in the main forums is also moot.

So if he starts a new thread and same mook makes same comment it gets boxed each day? You cant see how that would be annoying?

I can only speak on what I know. Since I didn't move the thread, there's not much I can tell you about that. I only assume it was moved due to the mention of twitter.

Again, it's moot now as he created a thread to tell everyone he's on twitter. Thus, the other thread likely would have been moved at that point as well.

And, for what it's worth, I like(d) clover. Seemed like a good guy. I also don't think he's going tout or anything like that.

However, he broke a rule and he was boxed like anyone else has been for the same infraction. He's MORE than welcome to post in the box and/or in the mains when his sentence is up.

He is NOT banned and, as long as he doesn't try to create aliases or break another rule, his account can remain active.

Just my opinion but these mods that don't have a clue how to run a forum...

You guys ever heard of a warning? Maybe you could have edited the content of the post and explained that saying Twitter will get you sent to the PB...

but NO, some noob mod on a power trip jumps the gun and moves the whole freaking post, lol, hence the freak out...geez guys, it isn't that hard, hope you don't have kids, lmao

This is my point and although it seems otherwise I am not trying to be a person but as you mention this guy has been model member until this. Again he didn't mention other site so not sure why Covers cant just box the person who did in a case like this.

Outta my hands as I wasn't involved in the boxing. That said, instead of contacting CT or a mod to ask for his thread to be moved back to the mains, he decided to break a rule. Thus, I can't see him getting his sentence reversed.

But as I keep reminding people, he's merely boxed. His account is still active and he'll be able to post in the main forums again soon.

u know whats funny? when pucku's threads gets bombarded with nonsense it gets cleaned up rather quickly, not boxed.

phodacbiet has been mentioning his twitter acct for the past couple of days in his threads and he doesnt face the same fate.

if u guys are gonna implement the rules, dont have any favoritism. and dont give me that bs about not capable of monitoring thousands of threads at once. i know u guys have programs to alert "key words"

I've always like you Pai_Gow, and I understand your concerns.

However, if you have access to this program to alert us of key words, can you let me know. I'd love to have it. It'd make this site practically seamless to monitor.
