Quick preview if you have no idea with the teams in Fiba asia,
Taipei: New team overall except for naturalized Center Quincy Davis. Bannered by Taiwan SBL MVP Liu Cheng, a 6'4 forward who can pretty much do it all, they will have to look for a lot more development from everyone else of they want to improve in the tourney. Rating: C
Jordan: I tab Jordan to be the black horse of the tournament. They will be lead by naturalized big in R.Wright who's a monster on both ends of the floor. Coaching duties is now on Toroman's hands. He has lead teams to yield positive results and shouldn't be a different case this year especially with a pair of 6'11 players who are steadily improving. Rating: B-

Japan: Japan will be backed by returning players, all who have missed the Manila tournament. Key returnee are the Takeuchi twins (6'9 and 6'10) who will be Japan's main cog on both ends. They also have a new coach in Kenji Hasegawa who happened to resemble Coach Toroman's system but plays more pick and roll and would almost always attack the wing to free up shooters. Rating: C+
Iran: Same team as the one Gilas played but healthier and beefed with two great prospects. Yakchali an up and coming star guard and an NBA Draftee in Kazemi. Simply put they are the favorites to win it all again. Rating: A
