It's too bad if Detroit wins their first round game they play gb. Teams to beat the defending Superbowl champs have lost their next playoff game. So tell me how will detroit win the next round?

im a conspiracy theorist when it comes to sports, so i was somewhat serious. when japan won the world cup, the commentators kept mentioning the tsunamis and how this country needed this victory. im not saying its fixed or anything, but there seems to be a greater entity who is watching sports with us from the heavens.

I agree that there are too many coincidences when it comes to states/countries that endure natural disasters and miraculously win some large scale sporting event, but not feeling it with Detroit. Detroit has been a shithole forever.

If the U.S. were to get an enema, they'd put the tube in Detroit...

New England won the SB after 9-11 so technically they cover all northeastern states. Besides a team called the PATRIOTS covers all United States of America. Jaguars -3.5

Look at boxing. It is clearly fix. Pac man should've lost that fight by point. Vegas made sure as long Pac man didn't get knock out, he would win by decision. Vegas is hyping the matchup between Pac man vs mayweather. I bet the first fight, if none of them gets knock out, it will be a draw. My first future bet Pac vs may will be draw...boxing is a dying sport over taken by a new popularity with UFC match ups. Boxing is wrestling and we all know that. Look at all the fight de la hoya should've lost but won bc of the decision made by the judge

Even if you subscribe to the theory that they will tip the game in favor of a team from a state that needs help, I don't see Michigan being that state. California is on the verge of bankruptcy and has as many employment issues as any other state - combine that with the horrible housing market and illegal alien epidemic, CA needs as much if not more help than Michigan.

Your wrong.  Arizona has the illegal alien issues, thats why they won the super bowl with Kurt Warner that year.  Watch..Detroit will get the calls on their side.  Green Bay just over rated ass team.  They havent face a real Defense team like the Niners.  I  wouldnt be surprise if Haurbaugh comes out setting his team in a Victory formation in the first possession.  Imagine him calling that play.

The city of Detroit has been in shambles for awhile, so why now?  Why did the Tigers not win the world series this year?  This is not the Lions year yet.  Maybe next year or the year after.  They need a couple more pieces and better discipline to be a superbowl champion.
