 I made a post like this a few years ago and I'll say again now. I (also) used to have a different idea of what a mod knows and sees with new posters. There isn't a function or tool to ban a poster because he/she is an alias. It just doesn't work like that. Often, posters are clearly aliases because of where they post and matching IPs and often in those cases, they are banned without anyone having an idea of who they were originally. So I can promise you that Wallstreet nor any other mod is sitting and waiting to ban someone because they are a previously banned poster. 

We have a really good mod crew right now and an awesome 'supervisor' in Colin (check out all of the giveaways I've worked with him). We have also let back many people under new usernames (and old) who were previously banned. But a very quick way to get banned is a new poster coming in and referring to a specific mod. It happens in college hoops every year with posters who were friends with Straightbets who HATED me (and was a tout) and mentioning my name. I mean, duh.

I agree with everything you said ... but it seems that Monte gets banned within 5 mins almost religiously . Where as there are multiple users that sit for 12 hours on the other forums . Please explain 

Believe you me about straightbets and the rest of the douchebags . But Hugh said it best ...its like a target on montes back compared to others which makes us pause

Why cant you just look at the IP address like I tried to explain in my PM . You could trace said IP and remove it from an auto list .Covers is pretty simple with the IT shit they got going on  ( Way behind the Times ) . I mean no disrespect either . Just wondering ...Forest for the trees

Because there is no mod capabilities of tech duties nor would be appropriate for a mod to delete (or change) IPs even if we could. But as I said, I can assure you that no Mod is sitting waiting for any specific IP to come up as a new poster, then banning.

I understand...but I watched this director guy in the mlb forum trying to sell picks and IPTV ...his post was up for like 12 plus hours so it seems weird . I dont really know monte too well but If these guys in the PB want to chime in..he gets banned faster than a prom dress coming down on prom night which is weird . Maybe he should just PM you when he makes a username because Ive done more than enough on this to be honest ...I hope your Vikes come through this season
