Debate confirms Trump is a weak idiot while Harris is smarter and stronger. Obviously, she is as well qualified to be president as other candidates in recent decades. She has been endorsed by many high ranking Americans in economics, government and national security. Unlike Trump, she has all the leadership qualities to be commander in chief. Betting markets reveal Harris would be a strong favorite to win the popular vote. No rational person should vote for twice impeached Trump a convicted felon and the worst president in US history. No other president has so many former members of his administration opposed to his re-election.
Yes, it really opened my eyes. You have at least 10,000 people who took the time to protest how an election was run. That would represent millions of voters. Those who had authority to provide security failed to do so. The fact that most recent rightwing protests were met with violent counter protesters would lend one to believe there would be obvious clashes yet surprisingly there were none.
Facts;
1. The most vocal person who incited a crowd that "we must go into the capitol" was never charged and thanked by the committee.
2. The committee was hand selected by democrats using patsy republicans of their choice to create an illusion of bipartisanship.
3.Those pesky pipebombs, just swept under the rug.
4. Claiming 5 police officers died as a result of Jan 6 yet no police officers died as a result of Jan 6th.
5. Hiring a movie producer to create a Jan 6th show.
6. Purposely failing to address or publish Trump saying "march peacefully".
7. Destroying more than half the collected evidence before the public can review it.
I can go on and on. Nothing about the shitshow that came after Jan 6th has an ounce of democracy in it.
The real glue holding Trump coalition together is arguably racial animus and general resentment toward minorities, and it’s been there from the start! I have give him credit for his ability to weave in his race baiting and then say he’s done more for blacks then MLK with few mislead blacks behind him ? How else could you muddy the waters to get people to forget the fact that you have a criminal conviction, have million-dollar rulings on sex abuse and fraud, have comments belittling Medal of Honor recipients, have accusations of a physical fight at Arlington National Cemetery and an have ongoing federal court case stemming from his attempt to overturn the 2020 election is not surprising once voters consider his one unique skill,…..What about the those Trump accomplishments?

Trump failed to communicate effectively with precise and prepared comments. This is a pattern throughout his presidency, and let's include his candidacy.
You fail to see that half the country saw a President who "knows he lost and is trying to steal the election." People are that way, and he doesn't seem to address that, and these are US citizens, too, and they deserve clarity.
He was not clear in those days what his intentions were. Maybe he thought we knew his intentions.....we cannot mind read.
At the first indications in the media that people saw him as "trying to steal the election," he should have made an address to the people. Maybe..."....I believe the election results to be fraudulent; there improprieties, fraud....: ON ADVICE FROM COUNSEL, I am assigning alternate electors and asking Congress, according to the law, to delay certification until there is a full forensic audit in 5 states.... I ASK MY SUPPORTERS TO REFRAIN FROM VIOLENCE, and to avoid any confrontation at the US Capitol building and do not threaten US congress persons....We seek a peaceful, law abiding manner ...." I agree in part it was not an insurrection. Noone was armed. Trump was never charged with an insurrection. He has a confusing tweet about "remaining peaceful." Yet he led his own supporters to a place they have never been, with no clear drectives. In any group of say 1000 people, tthere will be probably 10 who are irresponsible, and act out their worst instincts, act on on an impulse. Does he not know this? "My crowds are great people..." In any crowd, there will be a small percentage of low impulse control individuals who do not suppress their violent thoughts. Even in a crowd of liberal minded people. Trump is unaware of this, and that alone is troubling. The killing of Ashley Babbit is an example. She had low self control and was banging a door, trying to gain entry to the physical space of the legislators and give them an earful of her angry thoughts. Her daeth is on Trump, not the guard.
Again, he has cloudy judgement and although he has persuasion skills with his base, he fails to commincate to his opponents, and like it or not, that is his job. By communicating effectively with his opponents, he also communicates to people around the world who are also anxiously waiting to hear what he is thinking or planning.
Another example..."I've met Putin several times. We get along...." This is messaging to his base, a poke at his opponents, and is not effective for the world community. He is not a polished speaker, and again, this is his job. Words do matter.
