I agree with both of you. None of them do much on an individual basis, they're just part of their party's "machine". The ONLY thing I like about Trump is that he isn't a typical politician......that & the dems hate him, lol. Harris isn't going to be potus......she'll just be the next "front man" for a really bad band. She's in way over her head but it really doesn't matter. Like Biden, she'll just be standing by while the machine makes the calls.

I relate because I have at times in the past felt a disconnect in my own relationship. Like here is this person I love more than anything in the world, yet we somehow feel doomed to fail. A lot of it, most of it, had to do with my own mental state, and a relationship with cocaine and alcohol that while social, and recreational, probably bordered on abuse.
At the time of the writing and recording, Ian Curtis was involved in an affair with a woman he, by all accounts, sincerely loved while still, by all accounts, still sincerely loving his wife. All this while also battling debilitating epileptic seizures, burgeoning fame, a hectic touring schedule, and the accompanying mental strain of all if the above. Homie killed himself either right before, or right after the song was released. I forget which. For all of the influence Joy Division has had on music in the last 40+ years, they weren't able to really produce a ton of it themselves. The surviving members did go on to form New Order. That song hits home for me. I see even have a tattoo of the cover art.

I’m alright in the downstairs department , plus I talk with the ladies real good and stuff and do the nice thing by pretending that I give a fuck about half the nonsense that they are spewing , because after all they’re made that way , which is usually a little more emotional than me , so I think it’s courteous to be kind to them in that respect or when that happens , even though most of the time I just want to look them dead in the face and say “ God damn I’m glad that I don’t have a cunnt , cuz most of you vaj carrying humans are too complainy and wanna fuck with an already good and improving mood for no other reason than selfish insecurities or ego stroking …. “
The trick to getting tail is letting them drone on about said nonsense and only speaking just enough to keep the conversation going. Ideally you want to be witty and clever with that just enough conversation but it isn't explicitly necessary. Nodding and saying, "Uh huh" will net you close to the same win rate. I used to live by a personal mantra that it's easier to yourself out of some tail than it is to talk yourself into it. Nodding and saying, "Really?" is more successful than cracking one liners.
