They say that Poland player was offside - but the ball came off of a DEFENDER and then the GK, and the GK touch certainly wasnt inadvertant - it was absolutely ONSIDE because of that.

They might not know the rules of the game, but UEFA made it clear that pushing in the box this year would result in a penalty, they made that clear before the start of the tournament. The ref was warning the Polish players all game that if they kept pushing in the box they would be carded. The timing was peculiar, but he did warn them, and they kept doing it. You dont see that call everyday, but maybe you should. I dont know if he flopped or what, or if it was just some box shit, but if a ref warns you all game, you should probably stop doing it

First loss of the tournament when I made a bad bet on grmany. Serves me right, and I guess i can't bitch about the poland push- but I thought that was a very tough call to make in the 93rd minute- giving Austria a huge chance to tie it up. Oh well,

Therefore, as a value play, Im going to be on the French (very small) at PK +109. Honestly, there is not much between them and if the dutch were a dog I would take them - just think the line is a little skewed from the first round games.

I knew they were making changes - they couldnt stick with that AC Milan midfield that came in 4th in the Italian Serie A.
But Im not one that subscribes to the theory that good teams can just decide when they want to win. I think Italy has issues - and quite honestly Romania is no slouch. Dont forget that Romania qualified AHEAD of the Netherlands, and beat them once and tied the game at the Netherlands. While Romania probably doesnt have the goods to win the tourney - I dont see how Italy is giving .75 ball here - I feel it is on name alone.
We will see - but you know when you bet Italy vs Romania you are giving extra with Italy, and in this case because they lost the last game - you are giving an even bigger premium. Could they win? Of course - and I wouldnt be surprised - but give me that advantage in what I see as a pretty even game anyday.

i wanted to bet italy but didnt like the prces so i spread out the amount i wanted to play on all these props and things for italy. so if they lose i'll still lose but at least it'll be interesting. romania is actually probably a smarter play, italy "has to win" is a rather square angle.
