SCOTUS gives the states of Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin until 3 pm Thursday to respond to the filing by Texas.
I don't know how each of these states can possibly defend how the elections were handled in each of their states. Example. Absolute losing proposition to
defend Ruby and her daughter in the state of Georgia.
Do your homework Skippy and whole bunch of other States just joined the Texas Suit and the SC is asking for briefs from all. just sit back and watch!!
That is not granting the case a writ (hearing the case in Court). Retake government 101 please. 
Doesn't matter how many states join the lawsuit. It is not on the docket to be heard and it won't be. It's another frivolous case that will be laughed at by the justices just like the PA case today.

Meanwhile, the SCOTUS will hear a statistical analysis as part of the Trump argument. At 3 am on November 4th, with the outstanding ballots taken into consideration, the odds of Trump losing any of the 4 states named in the suit (GA, WI, MI and PA) were one in a QUADTRILLION while the odds of Trump losing all 4 states were one in a QUADTRILLION to the 4th power.
Of course, the dizziest of the left's contingent here will dispute this fact, but it will be a small (but statistically significant) part of the case that Ted Cruz will make to SCOTUS.
Let us know when the Supreme Court actually hears a case by granting a writ (rule of 4).
