A daughter is sentenced to death for adultery and her father gets the "honor" of casting the death stone.
You just can't make this up. In 2014, a civilized world (well, most of it anyway) tolerates this and our own country continues to allow people that would love to do this here, into the U.S. When you lose your country to these fanatics one day, people are going to wonder "how did this happen"? Answer - DIVERSITY... See Hamtramck, Michigan if you need evidence of this. The call to prayer rings currently rings through the streets 5x a day from Mosques & "Youth" centers.

The only thing baffling here is why you are shocked? Are you not aware of how much evil there is in that part of the world? Men in India are raping 3 year olds, Chinese women are being stripped naked in the streets and beaten up for having sex with married men, This sort of stuff happens over there mate, The sooner you recognise it, The easier you will be to hearing that sort of news.
Let's be honest, We have our own fair share of creeps and weirdos over this side of the world also, All religions are messed up, All races are messed up, Some days i think animals are the wrong species being locked up in zoo's, It should be us.

In the years since the end of World War II, the United States has killed more innocent people in more foreign countries than any other nation on earth.
True or false?

If I knew what your definition of innocent is the question may be easier to answer.

Is that an endorsement for the barbaric acts of Muslim extremists throughout the world?

No, I don't think civilians should ever be killed. I do think the US and their allies should look at the role they're playing in these attacks.
1. When you kill civilians - people are going to be upset.
2. When you use your military to control the natural resources of other countries - people from the countries being exploited are going to be upset.
3. When you stick your nose in civil wars - people are going to be upset.
4. When you take out Saddam and create a quagmire in the Middle East - people are going to be upset.
5. When you support brutal dictators like King Abdullah - people are going to be upset.
6. When you force countries to only accept American dollars as payment for their oil - people are going to be upset.
7. When you support terrorists and try to manipulate outcomes - people are going to be upset.
8. When you have blind support for Israel - people are going to be upset.
People have justified anger towards the US and their allies. I think the US and major corporations should stop trying to control the world. If Americans keep thinking "we are good and they are evil" when in fact the US does it's fair share of evil, this will never end and innocent people will keep losing their lives.

Not one of your posts in this thread has anything remotely to do with a father stoning his daughter with a bunch of cavemen to death in the name of their holier than thou religious VALUES...
You do need a detox...

So you're going to judge their religious values based on one incident? You're obviously not.. I can read between the lines. You can't give a reasonable response explaining the evil things that the US is doing in the Middle East. Why didn't you start a thread about a poor girl that got a bomb dropped on her head from an American drone? I know why, I'm just bringing your flawed beliefs to light.

An American couple has been found guilty in the death of their adopted daughter and abuse of their adopted son.
During the trial, the prosecution accused the couple of forcing their daughter to use an outdoor portable toilet and shower, feeding her cold and frozen food, striking her with a belt and piece of plumbing line and shaving her head. The prosecution further asserted that when Hana had died, she had been locked in a closet each night and not allowed to talk to anyone.
After Hana's death, The New York Times reported that the couple's abusive parenting tactics had mimicked instructions from Christian parenting book To Train Up a Child. According to the report, Carri Williams had recommended the book to a friend and beaten Hana with a plastic tube--a device recommended in the book.
You using your story to generalize Muslims would be like me using this story to generalize Christians. Do you understand why this is delusional or are you too dumb to see it?

Comparing some "Christian" book to the Koran is a reach for starters... That's child abuse and murder, plain and simple.
I'm Christian and went to Catholic school for 8 years. No where was this part of the curriculum. Honor killings go on and on.
Keep trying to draw parallels to the U.S. trying to exterminate the scum of the earth and unfortunately innocents getting killed with direct targeting by the religion of peace killing unarmed people like the cowards they are daily. What is wrong with you? Do you see what is going on with ISIS? Mass killings and you bring up some case of insane parents abusing their kid? ISIS is going to have to be dealt with eventually, Hitler now wears a headscarf.
I wonder what you do for a living? 15k posts in 3+ years?

The US weakened Assad and killed Saddam. The created a breeding ground for terrorists.
The US fought in Iraq for a decade and spent trillions.
Conservatives thought we would be greeted as liberators in Iraq.
We have been fighting the "war on terrorism" for 12 years and we have more "terrorists" today than we did 12 years ago.
People like Killer B and canovsp are out of touch with reality and don't have any sensible solutions. Love America? What does that even mean? What is your solution to the problem? Humor me.

I think the U.S. is the greatest country in the world. I wouldn't trade our problems or history with any other country in the world. People from all over the world swarm to get here even though some of them hate the United States. They come because they know it is the greatest country.
People who don't like this country's history (liberals seeking social justice) will always equate things that have nothing to do with each other. Example: In a thread about an Islamic honor killing someone poses the question about how many people Americans killed in Wars. Tomorrow another Muslim will kill a hundred people somewhere and someone will say the Redskins name is racists.
As far as the question of "What is my solution to the problem"...what problem are you referring to?

The US is the best country in the world because people from third world countries swarm to get here? Solid reasoning.
Problem - let's start with the quagmire the last republican president started in the Middle East. Why did the US weaken Assad, kill Saddam and create a breeding ground for terrorism in the Middle East? If your answer is because they're brutal dictators than explain to me why we support King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
Problem - moving our dollar off of the gold standard and creating the petrodollar. Do you think it's a coincidence that Iraq took their oil off of the dollar in 99-00, US invaded in 03 and Iraq's oil was put back on the dollar in 04?
Problem - banks and corporations control the foreign policy of the US.
Problem - we've been involved in the "war on terrorism" for 12 years now. We've spent trillions of dollars that we don't have and there's more terrorists today than there was 12 years ago.

Iraq wouldn't of been invaded with the support of Congress and a coalition if Saddam would've proved he disarmed, the world believed he had weapons and authorized his disarmament... He believed we wouldn't attack him. He was wrong. And then, we were wrong. Saddam was as good as it gets... I agree we should've learned something from this but not to be. And now more countries are "unstable" than ever before in the middle east.
You do seem to either overlook or minimize 911 and the attack on the Cole in 1999, or to even go farther back the Iranian Hostage Crisis. You act like we are the sole aggressor here. If Saddam would've used the weapons we knew he had, people would've blamed Bush. I can hear it now "What did he know and when did he know it" "He had the support of Congress and the world and did nothing". So Detox, you can't have it both ways. Are we better off abstaining? Yes we are, we haven't won a war in 70 years. We should know better by now.
