i cant stand when people talk so highly about life and family they r blinded bc they have had it so easy
Ha ha That was pretty bad and the 20 point lead at home blown to Arizona.
Mcdaniels and Staley are both trash coaches. I really don’t see how organizations keep trusting these young guys. McDaniels had the nerve to turn down the colts job like he was too good for it, what a joke.

Lions if you think life is so hard then why do you keep gambling?
Aren't you just making it even harder? Wouldn't it be easier if you stopped? You are depressed every time you lose. So if you stop gambling you will at least avoid those really low points.
No, not everyone has a perfect life or has it easy. And quitting gambling won't make life perfect either, but it will be a major improvement over what you're going through now.
Unfortunately this forum is not a good place if you are looking for sympathy. Wanna know why? Most gamblers are absolutely fkin miserable people too, just like you. But unlike most miserable people who have empathy with others that share their pain, gamblers are actually so messed up that they hate to see anyone else doing well and love to see other people losing. You'd think they'd be against the bookie but they're not, they love to hear that someone else lost and is mad about it just like they have gone through so many times.
Then you have these people like turn2 who have this outdated militaristic view on life who say everything is your fault, you get addicted it's not the bookie's fault, etc. They're the type of people who think all homeless people deserve their fate and get mad if they see one with a cell phone.
You don't need all this BS in your life it is only making you feel worse about yourself and you seem to already feel bad.
Why do you think you can gamble your way to feeling better? You can't. You probably think, 'If I just had one big win I'd be happy.'
Yeah for 2 seconds. Then you'd lose it on the next game. It would make no difference.

Give yourself a chance to feel better and get well.....stop chasing and digging yourself deeper.

A win should feel good, like finding that unexpected twenty in your pants pocket. A loss should sting a little. If that means only betting a couple hundred a game so be it. These guys betting over their heads.......I don't get it.

If you really want to take a break then shut the account down, pay off your balance, take a break from Covers and clear your head. Remove everything sports betting related from your life for the rest of this NFL season - that’ll give you a 3 month break to do other stuff. Then come back with a clear mind if you still want to bet games. Sounds like you got a good kid - spend time with your family. Develop a hobby. Do something else. Posting on Covers while saying you need to stop sports betting isn’t an ideal approach bud. In the end, you’re just going to ruin your health and family life trying to walk the line. Your kid shouldn’t be changing passwords for you then having to make the decision of whether to share it when you tell him next weekend you have a stone cold lock and need back in.

It takes certain personality traits to have a chance at winning in this tough hobby. IMHO you need the following:
1) patience
2) discipline
3) money mgt.
4) no emotion
5) good amount of money to use that won't affect your lifestyle
6) hard work and perseverance
1% to 3% have this and succeed long-term. This is what we're all up against.
