IronIcally, I like what you, CM Johnson think about games.  And I like Scal's write-ups.  But just because we intelligently disagree with his reasoning, that he (and I guess you) were blinded by Portland's history in Phoenix, that Portland did nothing signficant in the offseason and their draft pick is on the shelf, and that Bledsoe had a big stat line against Portland in Phoenix's preseaon at Portland but Scal focussed on how few points Eric scored, and the fact that Dragic, internationally, is known as a top playmaker, does not make us either right all the time nor DIPSTICKS.  let's discuss, agree and disagree without the negative comments.  If people make negative comments, ignore them.  Phoenix money line was sweet tonight.  Glad they didn't lose 103-85.  They won by a similar score.  Let's win this year!!!!! everybody.    Scal, keep writing.  It helped me analyze the game.   Wow, Plumlee was beautiful.  So was the euro center for boston.

The real deal won't come up and make full load of bullsh1t write-up.

You know how much money bookies made on this game by moving the spread then hiring a clown for doing this?

You d&mb fukc really believe he put half of bankroll on Portland?

scal had a write-up. He expressed a lot of confidence in the pick.  He was wrong.  It lost. Sh*t happens.  People, read the fukkin write-up. If you agree, then tail his pick. If not, then move on.  Either way, it's your fukkin money.  Take some goddamn responsibility.  It's not you're paying scal.

I like scal's write-ups. I tailed his Jax over Denver pick. I didn't like this Portland pick, so I passed up on it.  But I'm no capping genius, I've tailed other picks that lost.

Right or wrong, the guy at least fukkin contributes something.  Which is 99.9% more than the morons that have nothing better to do than criticize whenever they lose their $$.

Aside from respected cappers like Bator or phixer, I've since ignored any talk of "lock" or "bankroll bet" blah, blah, blah.  I just focus on the analysis that cappers give.

With a 1k bankroll, scalabrine is basically a degenerate loser.  Had he won this bet, his bankroll would be what 1500?  Clown has been on this forum this whole time and still bet $30 a game.  Thats how pathetic he is.

Hold on Mr. I had toooooooooooooo Many Tonight!!!

My comment about "this guy has 11 posts" was meant to come across as....

"This guy has been here a long time without saying much...he chimed in tonight...he has probably read many a thread in his yrs, and he dicided to call out Scal tonight."

It was more of a compliment  Calm down, you'll be fine. I had no $ on the game. Spread moved 3 pts in the last 3 days and landed at 5.5 at my book. I didn't play it. I lost on Under 206 LAL gm (which also moved 3.5 since 1am last night when I first looked at it. Thought I got a bonus 3.5. I had the Lakers output right if that gets me any points). I won on Over 188.5 Pistons gm. I won 2nd hf Cle +3, and lost OKC -6.5. I won SAS -6.

    Have a good season, BOL

I am sorry that you lost, but the write-up was great and actually helped me take phoenix instead. Of course at 3, I don't think I would have played but at 5.5 I saw value in the suns at home opening night against a team that was not good on the road. As much as you down credited the suns lack of home court advantage, they still were about 50 percent during majority of the season last year and blazers were horrible on the road and somebody else posted only 4 double digit blowouts by blazers on the road, that lead me to believe the better value was on suns at the higher line of 5.5 as there was margin for error if they don't win. Again the information was very helpful, but we all process information differently and draw different conclusions, but I love that you gave us a write-up and gave us something to make a decision with and even some of the posters disagreeing gave useful information, so I hope you keep doing it in the future, that is why in basketball I may not follow cmjohnson and his picks, but I always look to see the information he can provide for a game.

Well, that pretty much cripples me for the season.

The game could not be laid out more perfectly from top to bottom and then the Gortat trade came which couldn't have set the table better and was really the impetus for the bet size.

In the end, the trade actually hurt me. It opened up the floor and took out the slow moving parts (Gortat in particular) making their two guard set (which was rated as a foolish for bringing in a guy who can be a PG when you already have a PG and I couldn't agree more) work at high intensity, much more than the Blazers could handle.

Let me give you some perspective on how bad the Blazers played:

Miles Plumlee who is a third string center/12th man at best on any team, had 18 pts and 15 rebounds.

How bad is that for me?

He scored 15 points ALL OF LAST YEAR. He had 16 points and ten rebounds....at halftime. Listen if you want to put your money on Miles Plumlee, talk to me at the end of the year. You'll have nothing left. But of course, a guy who had a career high at DUKE of 19!, had the game of his life in either the NBA or college at the half. What is the probability of that? Less than ,1% IMO. You wanna put your money on that? Of course not. No one did yet Suns backers got the benefit of this D-Leaguer having the game of his life. That's some pretty sweet luck right there. As in 1000-1 luck, or worse.

But this was more than Miles Plumlee. Lillard and Aldridge did everything as expected and the rest of the Blazers did NOTHING. And Robin Lopez draws my ire in particular. Dorell wright? Nothing. Batum back from injury? No scoring. The bench? Nothing including Thomas Robinson. And there are guys here saying the Blazers made NO significant offseason moves. Not sure how thick that Doobey is that's in their mouth but I'd say 'pretty thick'.

I can chase tonight and risk losing everything which means deposit time or claw my way back.

And if I claw, I still feel like the girl in the bottom of the pit in the silence of the lambs 'put the lotion in the basket' scene.

To all the posters above who support write-ups and perspective even if they ultimately fail to cash, you have a head start in life, thanks. And of course an apology is owed to all those who tailed, which makes this loss much worse for me.

And to guys like Shango and the rest of you lowlifes who didn't offer a single solid reason to back the Suns, what exactly do you contribute to the forum? Nothing. You do not offer write-ups because you are unwilling and worse, incapable of producing one for any game in any sport. Every write-up does not win.

Yet you hope people that do contribute, that do intense research for a game off the grid others couldn't possibly do because they focus on other games/sports, lose. Or you come in hours after the game has ended to bash away. Why? Your self-worth is smaller than the crumb that church mouse just grabbed by your corn-laden foot.

That means I may have lost half my bankroll but you guys, are losers in life... and thereafter.

Well, Scal, I was curious as to how you would handle things if you lost.  So now people you don't even know are losers at life?  I expected better to be honest.
