Lets talk about the Newsletters favorite adopted team ... the future World Champion Cleveland Browns!!!
Fresh off of a surprising 11 win season, the BWS's come back with a more talented roster.
On D they added Clowney, Anthony Walker, and John Johnson, which should strengthen all 3 levels of that unit. They also return some valuable members of their secondary, which missed many games last year due to injury, not to mention getting DT Billings back after he opted out last year.
I wasn't a fan of their draft, with the exception of 2nd round LB from Notre Dame Jeremiah Something-something-something. This was a situation of BPA (best player available) meets need.
Offensively, this team is STACKED, with the noted exception of QB. I have never been a fan of Mayfield, and I'm not sure he is the type of QB that is best suited for this team. Cleveland has studs across the 0-Line, and arguably the best RB behind them. They have depth and talent at WR. Now all they need is a game managing try not to fuck it up QB. I believe someone like Teddy Bridgewater would be a perfect fit for the Brownies. Mayfield will win 1 game for them with his arm, but lose 3 due to his questionable decisions.
Not to worry, Mayfield is still the 3rd best QB in his division, right behind Burrows and Big Ben
In summary, I don't consider the Browns to be a play-on, or play against team. This is a pick your spot squad. The only certainty is that they are an ALL-IN play-on team when playing against the Shrimp

The story of the 2021 Brownies will be told mainly by how they fare on the road. imo
Looks like the Chiefs will be playing starters for a while tonight, no other reason for that total to have jumped 4pts.

Baker Mayfield is more than capable, now does that mean he will lead them to the promised land, well no. I have a hunch he gets the job done though. With all the distractions and disruptions caused by covid last year i'm of the opinion that not all stats can be automatically taken @ face value. Good morning Veronica
I'm not saying Mayfield is going to sb, i'm saying he has a good season.

Not sure Biscuits, I'm not even looking at any pre season lines. But I bet it wins
One thing I do know, the Bills might have the best backup QB in the NFL.

We all knew that, except for one stubborn sumbitch here who refused to believe
