It galls me when people want to blame the victim of a theft. San Francisco even had a law where car break ins could not be prosecuted unless the victim could prove the car was locked. WHAT??? That is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard!! I don't care if the Colorado players left their jewelry laying out in the open, he DOES NOT give anyone the right to steal it. I can afford to replace all of these out of pocket, but for a minimal investment per year (Around 1700) I don't have to worry about them getting stolen, lost, etc. I don't miss $1,700/year, but I would miss 350k.

All said and done the University of Colorado were desperate for attention and to lift the profile of their football program. They have succeeded in that aspect.

Has anyone listened to how Deion speaks to his guys about hard work, earning the job and believing in yourself.
He definitely brought a bit of the old school into the new and has reorganized a team that won only one game last year and made them better. The media always blows up stories and hopes you will take a side and argue.
Programs defining their existence on either beating or outplaying Colorado at this point is delusional. A lot of people have items that is theirs and they want protected and if not secured is at the mercy of criminals.
Lots of comments are being made and sometimes silence is better than addressing derogatory stereotypes and remarks.
