In all seriousness if you need someone to talk to I will PM you my phone number, I have been through many situations involving suicide personally and with friends.

I've gone through 20 years of this. Lost too much and about to lose my family and livelihood because of it. Good luck all and goodbye.
A lot of people on here saying to just quit which of course would be great, but we all know it isn't easy
My advice, there are things you can do to keep the rush but not expose yourself every day
One thing I am doing now after years and years of gambling is only making long term and futures bets like office pools and win totals bets. This does two important things:
-It keeps you from putting up money you will need for rent or bills because it is a long term bet with a delayed payout. Doesn't matter how much of a degenerate we are, we won't put up $500 in next weeks rent if the payout won't be until 2 months from now.
-It gives you action every week without putting up money every week. I can honestly say the rush on my long term futures bets are quite similar to what my one game bets were.
Like many said in here, quitting gambling is the best option, but it mat not be realistic right away. The things I pointed out in this post allow you to keep the rush and greatly reduce the risk of losing rent, food, and bill money. If you are like me and many others, this rush is why you gamble.

I lost $15,000 yesterday. If you didn't, look, someone has it worse. So don't kill yerself bro. Sounds like you have a lot to live for. You can make back the money. Maybe we could put something together where we all throw in $10 and you get the money you need.

i hope what your saying is not a hoax....think of the positive things in your life. like those kids. they must be an amazing part of your life. I've had some rough spots too. but nothing worth doing something this drastic. just like the other person said if you need someone to talk to just ask ill give you my number and maybe i can help you through some of your problems. it sounds like you need some positive advice.

Contests are the way to go. Your loss is limited to your entry fee and it's just as fun - maybe more.
I am in a couple Las Vegas SuperContest-like contest with entry fees of $50 for one and $150 for the other. And one college one for an entry fee of $75.
It's all I need. You still get the fun of capping and picking the games and then rooting them in.
Hang in there. Get out in Nature and enjoy. Sports are just a diversion and a recreation - not to be taken seriously.

Lower your bet amounts by a lot and put the difference in your kids' bank accounts. You'll still have action and be doing something awesome for your kids. I don't bet a huge amount each week but I know that sick feeling of losing (especially 2 or more losing weeks in a row) but not worth what you're planning to do. Also, seek professional help if you need it,
