The NFL is officially a JOKE !!!

The Refs - The Penalty Flags, the stupid new rules, and NO FLAGS has RUINED the Sport of Football.  When I was born in 1959 and throughout the 1990's Football Was GREAT!!

Now the Flags and especially the Refs and these Bull-shhit rules have destroyed the game!

NO PENALTY CALLED when the guy on the Browns FLAT-OUT DESTROYED the kicker from the Steelers (Boswell) ???  Did you see the "Targeting" Helmet to Boswell's head and face?? Almost knocked him unconscious!! If that happened to a QB Flags would have flown from everywhere!! Poor guy couldn't finish the game - so where were the PENALTY FLAGS?  No - nothing, just put him that Bull shiit tent on the sidelines. 

So a guy on Dallas tackles Kurt Cousins while he is pump faking a throw, he throws the ball away at the LAST SECOND - And gets called with the WORST roughing the passer call I have ever seen (IT WAS NOT A PENALTY / IT WAS NOT ROUGHING THE PASSER!)

How about the Jet / Bengal game?? When the "Unnecessary roughness" against the Bengals was called and changed the outcome of the game! when it was the guy on the Jets who dipped his head?? It is now UNWATCHABLE !!

The NFL SUCKS !!  Let's face the facts - it is NOT the league it used to be. I know, protect the players, right?  Screw that, you don't want them leading with their heads??  Well then, REMOVE EVERYONE's HELMETS!!......... Nobody wear a helmet and that will end head to head collisions!!  They should remove helmets entirely!

Sorry - BUT THE NFL with the penalties and Bull - shiit rules and calls HAS RUINED THE LEAGUE !!

The hit on the Pittsburgh placekicker should have been called...looked to be helmet to helmet but even if it wasn't it was roughing the passer for sure.
Cleveland wasn't fooled at all by the play either...I mean who makes a call like that? In a 3-3 game where points are at a premium with a chance to go up by 3...who calls a pass thrown by a placekicker (unless his name is Paul Hornung)? (yeah I know, who he)... 

Wasn't Boswell told to throw the ball away if his receivers weren't open? He brought some of that hurt on himself also...sheesh, sky the ball into the stands, lots better than a pick six or getting your head lopped off your shoulders by a 300 pound lineman. 

Now the Steelers will be without his services for at least two weeks...he was having a pro bowl year too...who knows the residual effects?
Other than that, Tomlin did have his team ready to go so he gets some props from me for that...they were primed to stop the run and also do some running themselves.

 Why I can't watch the NFL anymore is simply because I played team sports growing up and I know the better team wins 90% of the time. 

We had teams that we would always beat down. There were teams that we wanted to beat every year but couldn't, sometimes we came close, but in the end they were just better.
All pro  sports are corrupt, the coaches know it, the ref's know it and the owners know it. Games can be, and will be manipulated at any time.
They do this all in the name of entertainment. Just follow the money.

It's hard to bet on sports now a days. You just have to hope you're on the right side of the calls. 

I agree, this protecting the players has changed the game for the worse, how do you play hard on defense, at some point you will get called for some penalty, not the same as it used to be.  But I quess they didn't have a choice because they were opening themselves up for huge law suits from injuried players.

 Same one last year saying no one would ever watch the NFL or NBA ever again. Now go do what you do. The family walks around on eggshells while you flip from fox news to the ballgame. They are praying that at least one of your bets win or fix news doesn't mention stolen election. They are in a living hell. 

The real question is why did pittsburgs kicker hold the ball so damn long and allowing himself to get crushed? Stupid call stupid play by the kicker is all it was. The NFL has claimed they’re in the entertainment business in court so expecting a fair game from entertainment isn’t very bright.   Then you have to tell everyone you were fooled by Clinton and Epstein’s long time friend trump?
