I'm pretty new to covers. Been to the site a couple times but never tailed anyone till your posts and I must say I've never seen so many haters. Some people must not have any lives to bitch and post about all your losing picks. What about all his winners? I always figured if a guys picks aren't winning for me, I'm not going to play the next one. Why shit talk on the net about them. I must say its kind of entertaining though. Makes for good reading when I'm on the shitter. Anyways, Keith hope you keep the picks and good write ups coming. If not please let me know where I can find them. Thanks for the winners!

While the threads are interesting - it's just begging for drama.

If Covers is stressing you out, then you should probably give it a break anyways Keith.  

Not sure what you're mad about... it's almost standard around here that when you attract so much attention, some of it's going to be negative.  Get used to it, or don't post and avoid all the so called stress here at Covers.

Fuck the Haterzz Kieth. You know covers is run by the books so when a guy like you starts spitting winners left and right ,they send the goons to run you off. I was 2 months behind on my rent and had to hide my car cuz the repo man was after it untill i started to follow your plays,now im caught up on the rent and car payments,have a full tank of gas and more then enuff to take one of my bitches to Olive Garden. We love you Kieth! Please dont let the Haterzzz run you off. Lets keep stuffing our pockets with the mans cabbage. YOU DA MAN

GBP ... I escaped!

They wanted to keep me for a few more days, but once the pain was under control the only thing the hospital was doing for me was administering Coumadin via pill and Heparin via IV. 

I spoke with a few DR's until I finally found one that would release me as long as I was willing to:
1) Inject myself with the Heparin 
2) Go for daily blood work until my levels were at a "therapeutic" level. 
3) Relax at home
 
I can not take a deep breath, and am totally out of breath walking a flight of stairs or even finishing a sentence, but that will get better shortly.

DR's made it clear how fortunate I was that the clots hit my lungs and not my heart or brain ... or I would have been

Did they discover the source of the PE, was it legs or pelvic veins. PE is venous. So clots could not have gone to heart or brain, only arterial emboli could go to heart or brain.

They did not discover the cause , they did a scan of my legs to check for others and found nothing. There is nothing in my history to suggest why I would have gotten them.

As for the clots having the potential to have gone elsewhere, the ER Dr told me i was lucky, but I will take your word for it that it was not an option

Yes it is unusual not to find a cause. They should not occur in a fit healthy person. Usually follow prolonged stasis such as illness in bed or long coach journey, or obstruction or swelling in pelvis. Or changes in blood viscosity. Are they planning 3/12 or 6/12 anticoagulation therapy,.

Did they do a lung scan.

Not sure about the anticoagulation therapy ... I don't recall hearing that term.

They did a lung scan, and one of the 'threatening' issues was the size of my clots ... they were very large. I could be wrong but I think the Dr said it was 4cm (does that sound right?) There were so many Dr's, and so many tests, and so much morphine that it all becomes a blur.

I just looked up death rates for people with large PE's, and it is 10% ... so I had a 90% chance of survival

can you recall were the clots in one lung or in both

Don;t know ... but the pain was only on one side, so I assume only one lung was clotted.

clots usually small, large clots as you say can be fatal. Never come across in practice about size of the actual clot other than large or small micro emboli discriptions.

The heparin is the anticoagulation therapy.  Dont relax too much, get moving about, dont be slumping on that couch
