Kinda like the Padres and the Red Sox for a few reasons, but they are just leans, probably just leave the Rangers bet on. I am close to firing on the Red Sox though......
Also could use a new show to watch........any deep cut suggestions before I rewatch the first version of Justified or The Americans again? I am currently working through Mayans MC, not as much of a fan as I was of Sons of Anarchy.....idk.....I feel like it is moving slow but I am in only on episode 7 or so.

Yeah I watched all those all the way through....except animal kingdom I think I stopped around the time that the girl the kid was dating's dad was the cop.....and its been awhile so I would probably restart it.........good idea actually it's been so long I probably forgot most of it.......
As far as genre......I just lose interest if it is too dramatic and slow......like Yellowstone for example......everyone loves it and I couldn't get through the 3rd episode.......in fairness I probably gave up too soon, I can see why people like it.....

Some of my favorites aside from Saul and Breaking Bad were Deadwood and The Deuce on HBO. Also Hung was good too. Weeds. Obviously Succession/Sopranos/Boardwalk Empire was good. First couple seasons of You on Netflix really good. Righteous Gemstones was good first 2 seasons, just watched season 3 opener, feels like they are on a cash grab, or maybe I am just used to the humor now.
I really thought The Deuce was one of the best unknown shows of all time. I only say unknown because when I ever bring it up to people, especially when we have this conversation at the poker table, people rarely have any idea about it.
Should have just trusted myself and bet the Red Sox and the Padres, would have started 2nd half 3-0..........but I never put the other bets on,,,,,,,,honestly I didn't wanna bet 3 games right off the bat on day 1 of the 2nd half,,,,,,huge vagina move.
Whatever,,,,I will take the Rangers win

If you've already watched all the classics, you've probably watched The Wire, Fargo and True Detective, perhaps The Newsroom, so I'd suggest something british: Luther, Peaky Blinders, Sherlock, Taboo, Ripper Street - don't know where you can find them online though, I used torrents to download and watch them...
I dropped Sons of Anarchy after 3 seasons, I think, it was too ridiculous for me...

As for current shows, wish I had a few I could recommend to you but I don't. With all the channels and options we have these days you'd think there'd be a couple things to recommend, but no.
I did like Rain Dogs though. Good writing, good scripts, and worth a watch just for Jack Farthings' performance as Selby. Magnetic. Like the painting of Kramer, a grotesque, but you can't look away. Steals every scene he's in.

Lemme tell ya something man..............a friend of mine once told me that I reminded him a little of Al Swearingen, just in mannerisms, and verbally and whatnot, and I was honestly never more flattered on my life.
That fucking guy is my spirit animal.
They also couldn't have picked a better actor to play him. Just outright fucking nailed it. Literally one of the best acting jobs I think I have ever seen. Maybe some people with more refined knowledge of the craft would laugh at me for saying that, but I don't care.........for my money that guy was the best. I guess I should really be complimenting the writer as well......but Ian McShane brought that shit to life......
It is hard to deliver wordy lengthy lines and make them not sound rehearsed and forced and awkward. Deliveries that are almost sentences within sentences.......long dialogue that veers in 3 different directions and then meets in the middle again..........with that periodic wordplay to make it feel so natural.................and McShane just owned it.

BBC has a lot of quality shows, so in that regard they don't miss, the only "issue" is that the series don't have that many episodes, as opposed to American shows.
Out of all of them Sherlock is the most famous one, and probably the best one (as a side note, I also enjoyed Elementary from CBS); Luther is with Idris Elba, he has a really great performance in that one; Taboo is just a season staring Tom Hardy; Ripper Street is set in the time of Jack the Ripper, starring Tom from Succession, it was always funny for me seeing him play that role in Succession, after seeing him in Ripper Street. I will add another one from BBC: The Fall, with Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. Ah damn just remembered another one: The Night Manager, if you wanna see Dr House play an arms dealer while he is mentoring Loki lol.
Since you're so familiar with HBO, I remembered about The Night Of and Chernobyl, both a single season series.

Bunk was good in Treme too. He made that show somewhat watchable
I played poker yesterday for a few hours and got my ass kicked at the table also.......ran pocket kings into pocket aces twice.......brutal day all around......life of a gambler.........lost in baseball..........lost in poker........one of those days I just should have stayed in bed,,,,,,,,

once I get to the 3rd/4th old fashioned there isn't a dog moneyline that doesn't look like a sound proposition to me
If I were to bet totals.......I would have been betting the unders in this entire yankees/rockies series........it was 11.5, then 12, then 11 today........would have shorted all 3.
