Much like when Giuliani took over as mayor of NY from that sh!tshow Dinkins and literally cleaned it up, if you're Republican and running for anything in say Michigan (Detroit), Illinois (Chicago), or Maryland (Baltimore), you're being handed a pile of excrement and starting from less than zero - the only way to go is up. I think that's what the American public is finally starting to realize, and that's why the Left is losing all of these seats lately. So, yeah, get this "American Bad A$$" elected - there's no possible way he could do any worse than what's already there.....

Go Kid Rock! Supports the heck out the United States military unlike the following Lefties. Dwayne Johnson, Streisand, Glover, Hanks, The Boss, Di Caprio, Joe, Mika, Snoop Dog. The usual suspects from the hard core Left.

Dwayne Johnson? I thought he is a Republican.

Kid Rock ( born Robert Ritchie).. told Rolling Stone in February 2016 that he was “digging”
then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and predicted that he could win
the White House.

What proof do you have that none of these celebrities support the military. This sounds pulled right out of your @ss. Make no mistake, i'm not defending the stances of any of the aforementioned. I'm just asking a question.

Never have seen the hard core Lefties mentioned supporting the Military like Kid Rock does/has. The usual suspects only support global warming. Not pulled out of my rear end. Please prove me wrong and I 'might' go see the next Tom Hanks multi million dollar bomb.

You just proved yourself wrong. The "i've never seen it so it doesn't exist argument doesn't work. We're off of the subject though. Kid Rock would be good and if you look at his backstory it'd be hard for the ultra conservative media to portray him as racist. Personally I don't think President Trump is racist either but some of the company he keeps...some of his appointees...Jeff Sessions...
Anyway, let's go American Badass!

Yeah! And while we're at it, let's hire some plumbers to do open heart surgery... and maybe some housewives to wrench on some cars.
That's a horrible analogy. What qualifies one person to be a politician and not another? I guarantee you everyone in the senate doesn't have a law and/or a political science degree.

That's what's really wrong with these threads and these threads are a microcosm of the government at large. We get so caught up in "lefties are this... righties are that... liberals, blah, blah, blah... conservatives, blah, blah, blah..." that hardly anyone is capable at looking at anything in a nondiscriminatory way. Every one is so f'ing biased and can't think on their own. And that goes for both sides. Personally, i'm conservative on a lot of issues. Ultra conservative on some but i'm also ultra liberal on others. I look at Slim's post and I don't think about Slim's past political stances, my own political stances, or even Kid Rock's for that matter. I ask myself, "Could he do any worse than what's in the senate now?" Probably not. "Is there a possibility that he can do better?" Yes. The one thing I will say is Kid Rock has the ability to reach across the aisle and further bipartisan agendas. His supporters won't just be beer swilling rednecks as much as what you may want to believe. There are people on the democratic community, and in the Black community, who will hold Kid Rock accountable. You want somebody who can help mend race relations, Kid Rock is that person, as crazy as that may sound. And lastly, with all the senators who sit on their arses and collect a check for doing absolutely nothing, at least with Kid we know he'd be in it to make things better. He doesn't need the money. I've debated 165 on some issues in the past but I agree with his statement 100% in this thread. I hope Kid Rock runs and wins.

Absolutely logical, and factual thinking, well said on behalf of the Kid...wouldn't that be something if the "American Bad A$$" got elected? political science complexity

Yeah but I also doubt they used to 'rap' about doing drugs, hookers and proudly being white trash

No, but many of them cheat on their wives...with hookers...while on drugs. Or maybe they are members of the kl@n. Maybe they dress in drag. I think one of the biggest knocks on career politicians is that they're fake. They are often charismatic bullsh!t artist. Tell me how the content of Kid Rocks music disqualifies him from being a tangible senate candidate.

He's running as a "R"... the party of so-called morals and values. Just a twist of irony since people in that party probably tried to censor him (or any music) at some point
