takeaway one freak special teams play, this game is 10-3 and on schedule for a Ravens grind it out win and cover.

Lamar has actually played fine. This is poor play calling when they’re blitzing every play. Need some shorter routes, they’ll be just fine in the 2nd.

Special teams gave up the lone TD to the Texans. His oline isn't doing LJ any favors either. The longer the game stays close, the more dangerous it is for the Ravens.

 The statement is probably based off the fact that most quarterbacks don’t take these sacks. They throw the ball away. Houston is blitzing on every play. As a quarterback you have to know that the ball needs to come out. 

couldn’t agree more with the bad play calling. Baltimore is pass happy for no reason. It should be run first, screens and check downs until the defense softens up

 I’d rather him take these sacks then try to do too much. He’s showing maturity and that he’s evolved as a QB. People can be unhappy with that first half, but better than a couple of picks.

Great post. Nailed it right on the head. Look for Lamar to have very quick decisions this half to beat the blitz. It's obvious that the Ravens were not expecting so much blitz from the Texans, and they've made the adjustments.
