But Lamar won a Heisman , just like Bryce Young and Tim Tebow. Listen to his interview and he might be the least intelligent QB in the NFL.

It's too soon to measure Lamar against Brady and Manning, let him win one and go from there; for one thing, see if he comes back and stays perpetually hungry like those guys. I wouldn't say Lamar is the smartest, he's got QB smarts for sure but theb fact that he's such a threat running gives him an added dimension that lifts his game (obviously, I know). But it can work against him in the long run for a couple of reasons. Succeeding at an NFL QB doesn't take IQ smarts, it takes EQ (Emotional Intelligence), and instinct is one of a few key factors in assessing EQ. Another factor is wiring, fight/flight response, Similar to what makes a person an effective leader in battle, which is when the sh&t hits the fan, being able to see your surroundings clearly - that's what they mean when they say "the game slows down for" a player. I don't know how Lamar scores in that regard but if you go by the last five years (throw out his rookie year) there's evidence both for and against it.

The reason I said running can work against him; for one thing, in the NFL to date running QBs are much more likely to get hurt and have shorter careers. But more importantly, a guy with Lamar's skills is less likely to develop cerebrally, relying too much on his legs

I understand it’s early but my point is I have similar confidence with Lamar as I did with Brady and Manning. Yall think I’m joking or trolling but I’m not at all. Maybe one day some of yall will get it but prolly not.  Lamar is prolly the smartest most cerebral runner I’ve ever seen and he’s on his way to being the most overall cerebral QB. He just runs when he feels he has to or he wants to take the shit into his own hands. His ability to throw the ball is fucking elite let’s not kid ourselves. Lamar will always be more likely to be hurt in the pocket than outside of it 

the thing nobody really wants to admit is Brady co-signing Lamar. When has Brady ever publicly said to another QB…. “You’re next.”  Meaning “you’re the next (great).” Fill in the blanks. He does it with no one else. It’s not me. It’s your OWN goat who says it LMAO.

Lamar is 2-3 in the playoffs. Great ones always find ways to win in the big games. Lamar has yet to do this.

LJ was smart enough to know that the Texans' D was not accounting for his legs so he took off and gashed them. I see vast improvement in his QB play in the pocket and throwing on the run and I love watching him play.

Did any of his detractors watch the Ravens @ 49ers' game? Lamar was 23 of 35 (65.7% completion rate) for 252 yards and 2 TDs and 0 picks with only 45 on the ground, so he beat them with his arm. The Ravens only ran for 102 yards so...there is that. 

Given the chance, Lamar will beat the 49ers' overrated butts again should they meet in the Superbowl. The Ravens have the better defense especially when healthy.
