What a game!!!
100 spreads come out today for College Football "Game of the Year" matches at the Golden Nugget. I'm super interested to see Oregon VS LSU spread.
I'm so excited!!! Waiting for my friend in Reno to call me so I can place my wagers.
Have a good day!

I amazed at how many people get worked up about what a poster that they don't even know has to say. Who cares if this is a guy or girl posting? I guess just don't get it.

so its just the fact that the heat have homecourt these last 2 games? woah, what a mind blow. i thought there was so much more into breaking down these games. and its also the fact that he is lebron that the heat will win. wow, man! awesome insight

The Heat will win because of home court advantage. Did you not catch that?
If Dallas doesn't win Game 6, then historically speaking, what are the odds they win a Game 7 on the road? How about in Finals history, and then in NBA Playoff history? I know, but do you?
Let me know when you've completed your homework assignment and have returned with the statistics.
I don't need to know because I do not wager based on what teams from two decades ago may or may not have done. I look at matchups, current trends
I can look at this series and say
- LeBron is not playing well
- LeBron appears to be very tired and seems to be getting worse
- Wade may be injured
- Haslem is wearing down
- Dallas has proven it can comeback in any environment
- Carlisle is making better adjustments and is outcoaching Spolestra
- Miami's home court advantage in the playoffs is overstated because they have played either weak (Philly), flawed (Chicago), or injured (Boston) teams.
All of which leads me to believe Mavericks have a decent shot at winning a game in Miami.

Even the Mavs is leading series 3-2 but there's still a long way to go to end this thing. I think the heat will take gm 6 without a question.........( I've Mavs to win it all and the last couple of gms , my heart will always cheer on the humble players in Mavs rather than those cocky kid in the heat )
Gm 5 , 95% ML & 70% ATS on the heat and of cos, vegas is the biggest winner.
Gm 6 , so far 89% ML & 77% ATS on the Mavs and the money is still pounding the mavs the next couple of days.
It'll all came down to gm 7 & one gm the winner takes all. I just want to remind all the Mavs backers be humble and don't act like the cocky miami backers. Wait till the Mavs win the 4th gm, then u can give them the finger, ok?! lol
And Sarah, there's nothing wrong that u luv/admire LBJ......but damn, he's far from the greatest player that u think he is. Whatever triple double means nothing when yr team lost. Dirk outscore LBJ 52-11 in the 4Qs in the final so far and that's the reason why dallas is leading the series 3-2. Even if the heat wins the championship this yr, LBJ is still far from being great, he'll get a ring and that's all. This's D Wade's team and he's the only king in the team.

Prior to the series beginning, I gave Miami the slight advantage over Dallas based on the fact that they had home court advantage entering the Finals. I believed Dallas would need to win two games in Miami in order to become champion this year since I did not feel Dallas could sweep the middle three home games. In my eyes, the roleplayers of Dallas would not be able to hold up for two road wins VS Miami’s Big Three and therefore Miami would be champion.
Fast forward a couple weeks later. Dallas has a series lead of 3-2. Miami has home court advantage. Dallas needs to win one more game in Miami in order to become champion. Everything is right on schedule.
Has my opinion on the outcome of this series changed? No.
Miami will become World Champion on Tuesday. That’s no disrespect to Dallas. If I didn’t respect Dallas, I wouldn’t have hedged out of my Miami In-Season Futures by taking Dallas To Win The Championship prior to Game 1.
Why am I still confident in Miami? LeBron James.
You’re probably getting ready to go on a LeBron James rant right now, and trust me, I did for at least an hour prior to writing this blog. His fourth quarter performances thus far have been inexcusable.
Whether you like him or not, he’s still LeBron James. He’s held at such a high standard that even a triple double is a bashing point for his critics. When’s the last time you saw an individual hit a triple double and still get crushed by the media?
It’s LeBron James time. With a King’s performance in Game 6 and Game 7, the history of this series will be rewritten in a way that acknowledges LBJ as the best player in the game today rather than the choke artist he’s being portrayed as by the national media. Somehow, the media seems to have forgotten his heroics in closing out Round 2 and Round 3, yeah?
LeBron James is the most criticized player of my generation, but don’t lose money over your hate for him like you did while backing Boston and/or Chicago.
On June 14th, 2011, you are cordially invited to witness the coronation of The King, LeBron James.
This is hilarious! Best SJP Thread EVER.
To answer your question: It was when Lebron James failed to show up again in a 4th quarter. Nobody cares he got a triple-double if he can't finish a game. James has his chance to really step up when Wade hit the floor hard and went to locker room, but couldn't do it.

always ballsy to go out on a limb. But i think betting your reputation on lebron & homecourt is precarious.
The only thing to cap has been the last 6 minutes of the games. One team is executing much better in the clutch. Even if lebron has his best game, his team finds different ways to falter. forget lebron. why hasnt the heat gone to wade down the stretch? this is mental stuff that comes back to coaching.
My sincere hope, if the heat are down 10 with 4 minutes left, that lebron doesnt do what he did in cleveland. I would like to see 7 games myself.

They haven't forgotten, it's just that those "heroics" are on the verge of becoming totally irrelevant because "the King" is coming up so small in the biggest series of them all, and for the media, that's a much bigger story than what he accomplished in the conference semi-finals or conference finals.

I wondered the same thing. If she was so confident that MIA was gonna win this thing, how the hell do you hedge? And if you do hedge, why do you really care who wins that much?

Huh? Is this supposed to be a standup comedy routine? Even if LeBron busts out with strong games on Sunday and Tuesday, he'll always be remembered as having a poor 2011 Finals. He'd have to produce two monster games in Games 6 & 7 to make people (sort of) forget Games 1-5, and this 6'9" turkey of a man isn't about to produce a couple of monster games.

MrBator,
You are breaking JMon's rules. He specifically stated only 2010 memberships and beyond can comment on my blogs/columns.
Do you think Dallas is going to win this series? If you do, just let me
know and I'll have this blog deleted and create a new "Dallas wins it
all" one in its place.
. . . Seriously. :)

I wasn't that confident before the series began. You can review some of my posts---no certainty at all.
I thought the series would come down to Miami defending home court, and it has.
Why do I care that much? I actually am a LeBron James fan beyond betting. It's actually kind of sad watching him get burned by the media so badly.

That would be disgusting, and I don't see it happening. Normally I say NBA teams and major league baseball teams cannot win a Finals Game 7 or World Series Game 7 on the road, but this year I can see it happening. Truthfully, I'll be very surprised if Dallas fails in both of its cracks at the title in Miami.
