Lost every game

Went huge on kansas, went bigger on Virginia, went all in on ucla. Speechless right now. Done gambling not even sure how I'm going to pay. Just venting here. This sucks.

Don’t ever go big on your first game because you’re just gonna end up chasing like you did tonight. The later slate of tonight’s games were tough to call. 

I went 3-1 with a uva loss. But none of those were big plays. I wanted to take zona but decided to back off and I’m happy with that I prolly won’t cap until Thursday when the tournament begins. I’m my advice is either learn from tonight or don’t gamble again. If you do have discipline and don’t go huge on wages unless you’re up really big. Also don’t chase after a big loss with even a bigger wager to overcome your first loss.

Ive had that feeling before. Keep your head up. 

Today was a rough day, lost a chunk as well. Bet 1/25th of your bankroll, build up again. It’s a marathon not a sprint.  

Take a break. Learn from this moment. You'll  never win the chase.

I never play with credit/bookie anymore….For this exact same reason.  I use offshore and I deposit with my own funds. If I lose all money in my account it forces me to deposit again.  it can get real dangerous playing credit when on tilt especially if u don’t have the money.  Figuring out a way to pay or tell the bookie u need more time etc.. finding ways to get the money. That’s the shitty stressful part over the next few days.

put in what you are comfortable with. Bet accordingly. If you lose, wait until you want to go in again. If you win, keep your strategy and build up.

i deposit $100-$200 when im at zero and want action within my means, as a hobby.

sometimes I lose the the first bet. Then I need to deposit again. It’s fkn addicting.

what I’m always chasing is the big run that we’ve all had. Taking that $100 and turning it into $1k, $3k, $10k.

and this works for me. My problem is the more I’m up, the more aggressive I get, which makes the losses hurt more. And sometimes takes me out after I took the $100 and turned it into $3k.

this is why any successful gambler tells you to control it. Discipline is the only way to actually win here.

Good luck. Think positive. I’ve had to work myself out of gambling debts when I was younger.  Just learn from it 

You need to check who is injured before you play. I did not play UCLA because a key player was hurt the night before. Was suspicious because the line was a pickem. Same with kanas,key player left in middle of game

Damn   Very sorry to read this.  Like many, I feel for ya, dude.  Many have been there before, and it sure does suck.

There's a lot that can be learned from this but all that is irrelevent right now.  Can only imagine your stress.... and it hurts.  Sorry, man.

Best advice I can offer for the here and now is perhaps sit down with a buddy (or two) and work the immediate problem.  Avoid panic. If you're in debt now you have to focus on that in a calm and logical manner. You may have to borrow funds, sell off some assets, or take on PT work.  But further gambling - in a desperate attempt to recoup your losses - is NOT a solution.  It always fails.  I know from experience as do millions of others. 

Been thru this before. Multiple times and feels worse each time because it’s yet another time a major lesson wasn’t learned 

if anyone has resources that actually help against gambling addiction now wouldn’t be a bad time to share some that work. I’ve tried the 1-800 numbers because I don’t have time for in person therapy but they’ve all been useless for me. They connect with someone local and the last two recommendations were for numbers that weren’t even in service anymore

sincerely hope you find a way thru this. I never think this is much consolation when people say it to me but keep things in perspective, things could still probably be a lot worse when you think about other parts of the world

Every bookie that gives credit WANTS you to play with them.

They know the numbers.  95% of players are losers long term.

If you end up getting on the plus side with them, they just drop you because you are too good.

Don't worry.  He will let you pay it out with no problem.

Because he wants you BACK.

The key is, do not go back.

Get a book that does not allow credit and only deposit what you can afford to lose.

Then stop chasing.  Flat bet every play.

No matter what ANYONE says, no play is stronger than any other play.  Every play can lose.  

Flatten out the variance curve by flat betting.

Been doing it this was for years. It is a slipery slope for sure. I tried DK and Fandual. I am old school and I find these sites full of fluff and things aren't as direct easy. Having to sift through all the minutia just frustrates me and I deleted the apps.

I don't think that mattered. I feel as if UCLA out played Zona and coach for Zona really didn't take advantage of the mismatches he had down low on offense. Zona got lucky. And thank the good lord he did.

Lot of wisdom here because a lot of us have been there. It's that empty pit in your gut feeling.

Also, the best gambling time of the year is coming up. money line parlays of 1 vs. 8 seeds in the NHL and NBA playoffs.. It's feast or famine and if things go how they should you can make it back. If not, see above and take the summer to recoup. Follow a good football capper next year and make it back.
