I dont see how anyone could lay -19.5 (or -17 for that matter) on VT after seeing them lose this past weekend.  Maybe they will come out super pissed? Or do they present matchup problems for ECU?

 



ok, time out!  does it occur to anyone on this website that (a) James Madison played their super bowl this past week, (b) JMU is a top 5 (probably top 3) Div II football team, and (c) VT couldn't have cared less about that game? 

this is not that different than Kansas losing in week 1 to ND St, and everyone then jumping all over GT, like lambs to the slaughter... people making way too much of VTs loss to James Madison, and a whole bunch of sharp money is unloading on the Hokies even at a seemingly inflated line... and i can tell you exactly why they are doing that (and for some reason, LuDawg, even 3 days into the week, has still not addressed this obvious issue)...

DEFENSE!  ECU has none!  i mean no defense whatsoever!  VT can name the score against that "defense"... and this spread only comes down to whether or not ECU can muster at least 24 against VT... because 45 is rock bottom for what VT is going to score against ECU this week...

anybody who watched the Tulsa game should know that ECU is going to get shredded by any and every respectable football team they play this year...
