I am a LONG time Capper and have been on wagerline/covers for quite some time.. All you guys who are hammering this dude--to be honest.. I dont get it. He HAS been consistently winning (YOUR CHOICE to follow or not), he had a terrible day yesterday (YOUR CHOICE to follow or not), so he has fun with the "units" big freaking deal..

I have seen great cappers come and go because some of you morons just drive them to leave. I am not saying this kid Mike is a "great" capper--time will tell, but seriously with the schoolgirl BS.. you guys that are hammering him, grow up-- or just shut the F up.

I agree with you too, Sarge.  And he lost Louisville...so what.  so did a lot of people.  I liked them to, but not enough for a play.

But if you're a "LONG time capper", then you know how ridiculous it is to put -270 large money on the ML during the NCAA tournament.  Against an in-state rival?  On a team as schizo as OSU?!?  Only amateurs and losers do that.  That is why I personally bash, mikeee.  He CONSISTANTLY does this with huge ML faves, and then claims he picks 70% winners.....but never mentions the "money won".  As a long-time capper, you might agree with me that $$ trump all. 

But your point is taken.  I'll leave the thread.  I just know there are a lot of novice cappers that come here for info and (ignorantly) tail picks.  Because mikeee makes such a production and bumps his thread so many times, he gets their page views, and these guys follow his picks.  I, like you, hate to see bookies win

Do I think betting OSU on a $$ line was a smart play.. nope. Do I think the kids is a good capper, like I said "Time will tell". What I do like to see is others opinions that I trust and value..

I could care less about the units and how he accounts for it. I do not tail or follow his picks UNLESS I see something that makes sense or if there is INFO that I didnt know about his picks--which he does not provide. BUT AGAIN, he has been winning.. and that is good for those who dont cap there own games.

Everyone is entitled to a losing day, god knows I have had my own.

As I get older, those TERRIBLE days become farther and farther apart.

We agree again, Sarge.  He never provides any info or insight.  Just songs and claims how much money he wins.   That is why he lacks my respect.

Anyway, since you are a real capper, here's a theory I will be playing today based on actual real, statistical info.

First round games involving 1-4 seeds have gone under 60% of the time since 2005.  Yesterday, there were 8 games, obviously, and they went 4-4.  But 2 of the losses were by 1 point, and another was OT.  Seems to me those are good odds for today.  Therefore, in my eyes some intelligent plays today would be:


Duke U142

Arizona U128

Creighton U155 
Kansas U152
Wichita St. U125
Virginia U123
Iowa St. U145
UCLA U146 

One thing I do not bet on, are "trends".. I just dont believe in them. I feel if you flipped a coin 200 times and heads came up 120 and tails 80, does that dictate what is happening for the next 200X? I would say no..

Does it make me RIGHT, nope..

That being said, I hope you win them all or the majority! I like the OVER in ULL/Creighton.

I understand.  Not that big of a trend bettor myself, but I find this one kinda interesting so I'll be playing it today.  It'll be cool to just follow along with something like this to see how it does.
