Yeah just talk about sports at a bar - not local sports, but talk about anything that isn't a hot sports topic. Anyone who can respond somewhat intelligently probably bets on sports or knows someone who does, and they probably use a bookie.

I've probably been through 4 or 5 bookies and every time I would quit using one (or they would stop taking my action) I'd think I was fucked - a week later I'd have another one.

I was burned by BOS several years ago. Now, you can&#x27;t find an offshore. If you do, they send an email saying they are "pulling out"....That&#x27;s what I always told my girlfriend in college.

If you keep switching bookies....why? They all offer about the same lines. Why not just stick with one and pay him what you owe him. Wouldn't that be a lot easier than trying to find a new one to stiff every Sunday? And guys on here all get upset when I won't extend them any credit.
