You know this clown would have the vax if he was the coach of Bama, but since he is the coach of nobody U he can watch people in the football dept get laid off and players transferring. He gutted the football program because he could. Selfish fukking prikkk.

“Who other than themselves are the anti vaxers putting in danger”
If you get vaxed you are far less likely to contract Covid and if you do you get it you get a far weaker case of it and therefore are far less contagious to others. What happens when everyperson that can get vaccinated eagerly gets vaccinated. We reach herd immunity, meaning the new cases go down and down.
I have no idea why that is hard to understand or why you don’t know it already.
Goodbye

Spreading false information to vulnerable people.............
AUGUST 1st 2021;
Appearing on CBS's "Face the Nation," Fauci stressed that the majority of breakthrough cases involving the delta variant saw "minimal symptoms or no symptoms at all."
Guest host John Dickerson asked Fauci what the CDC's reasoning was for recommending masks be worn by both vaccinated and unvaccinated people indoors.
"What we learned that's new, John, in answer to your question, is that when you look at the level of virus in the nasopharynx of people who are vaccinated who get breakthrough infections, it's really quite high and equivalent to the level of virus in the nasopharynx of unvaccinated people who get infected," Fauci said.
So how did Colin Powell get infected??? Do you think in his condition he had unvaccinated people in contact with him? Dollars to donuts he was infected by a vaccinated individual.....who probably didn't even know they had it.

@steponaduck While the wallet may be full, the noggin is empty. No one is making vaccinations mandatory. Washington state has made it a a requisite for employment in state government. States rights is a bedrock conservative principle. Or it used to be. Or conservatives used to pretend it was.
no the noggin is not empty.
Don't be so "open minded" that your brain falls out of your head. clearly with many libs, they are losing their mind over this. families are being divided, and it is the left that is living in fear of those that are not vaccinated. Not being vaccinated does NOT equal being sick...
people who ask questions, and are hesitant due to lack of true vetting are not stupid...

These folks have an answer for everything. It is a colossal waste of time to try to rationalize with them. They believe what they want to believe...And blame everyone else but, themselves and their "leader" for their challenges and the perceived challenges of this country (ie selectively blaming the liberal media, while giving the fascist media a pass)...I have asked the moderators to lock and/or transfer this string to the appropriate forum, but so far they have done nothing. These folks are well within their constitutional rights to believe and promote conspiracy theories, rail against science and logic, and promote whatever radical or "old timey" agenda that they are coerced to promote by the powers that be. As I have said multiple times before, let's get back to the capping and beat the books...together, and stay out of the political realm...Discussions like this accomplish nothing, except pissing people off...

With all due respect, you set up a typical straw man argument with your comment about mandatory vaccinations. the vaccines are not mandatory. it was a simply a requirement for his job (and for all the people who work for the state). the whole "open-minded" and "lib" comments are the basic boilerplate of the right when cornered by a superior argument. Moving on. I wish you well with your bets.

Sure he could've. He said he was waiting on an exemption ruling but they dismissed him anyways. This state is somewhat unique in the sense that its divided, geographically & politically. The west side of the Cascades holds all the rain......& all the political power (due to population), which is liberal. The east side is much drier & much more conservative. It's pretty much east vs. west out here........& the east always gets outvoted.
I don't know if Rolovich was "making a stand" or what. He hasn't been here that long. This state has worthless politicians & many are sick of them........yet the same morons keep getting elected. Go figure.

Hi Corvette, so the people need to wake up find out I am exactly what’s wrong with America. That’s oddly flattering. I’m the problem. I haven’t been the least bit political, I’m all about how well vaccines work to treat infectious diseases. How is that political, it isn’t. A huge number of deadly diseases have been successfully combated with vaccines and COVID is the latest.
Good day to you sir.

An employer told an employee he had to follow a rule that every other employee had to follow (with limited exceptions for those who qualified for an exemption). The employee did not do that and was promptly terminated for cause. No settlements, no lawsuits. Employer will find a new employee who will follow the employer's rules and the fired employee will probably find a new employer.

Hawaii has state mandates for State Workers to get Vaccinated OR GET TESTED EVERYDAY like Rolovich was doing already. He was hired to coach football..nothing more nothing less...Washington I believe may be the only state that requires all state employees to get Vaxxed or be fired. No daily testing options available in lieu of not getting Vaxxed after deadline......So the Governor makes up his own rules. that No other state has ...No alternatives...

Your state which I will assume is Washington is looking out for the greater good. As someone pointed out, if hypothetically R-vich were the coach of Alabama, and Alabama required the vaccine, then he would get the vaccine. You guys are making him out to be martyr for yet "another" lost cause (Anti-Vaxx)...I don't get it...Would you be as sympathetic if hypothetically your granddaughter or nephew were to get and die of Covid, because some they came in contact with some rebel and ignorant anti-vaxxer, anti-science, anti-medicine A-Hole believed in conspiracy theories and refused to get vaccinated and refused to mask up? I bet you would not...

LH...i respect you and your capping, (and do not want this next comment to affect our capping relationship going forward...)
but please stop with the "greater good" nonsense. that hyperbole is so over used. this is not a moral debate.
I am not vaccinated and have no plans to get it...it is not because I dont care about people, and you do. I am not sick. I have had covid and was fine after word. I do not need the vaccination and am going to avoid it this go around. I am so tired of the media and others making this a "case for the greater good". It is a fantastic lie.
this is not a moral debate, so Please...Please stop making it one.

First of all, the fact is, as I stated earlier, that vax'd or not, you can still contract & spread the virus. So if myself or a relative of mine got sick, I'd have no idea who the "A-hole" was. If Rolo isn't worried about getting sick or has some exception to vax's, that's his biz, not mine. I don't think he should lose his job over it.
Second, this state pretends to be about the greater good. They've let Seattle turn into a shythole. They're more concerned about the tweekers than anything else......residents pay for, but take a back seat to, the tweekers. They think that what is good for Seattle is good for the rest of the state. They have no common sense or vision. If you're a responsible adult here you're gonna pay for it.

Well I hope, as a fellow respected capper here on covers and an acquaintance, that you can continue to avoid COVID…and that you won’t have any regrets if for whatever reason you do get infected…I would not wish the agony on any person spending their last days on this earth in an ICU inverted and attached to a ventilator, alone…when it could have been avoided…That may sound harsh, but it’s true…It is indeed a personal choice…I am sending you good vibes, so you can make it through, unscathed…

@LonghornHoosier if you want to get a vaccine for something killing 2% of people that get it (and many of those are people with pre existing conditions), that's fine. but don't expect everyone to sign up for that.
Cannot say it any better. Bottom line is it comes down to choice. It is a person's right to say yes to any vaccine or treatment or any drugs you put into your body. No government should make that choice for anyone in our society. We are a democracy not a communist state like China or North Korea. The funny thing is our government in Canada talks about how China voliates there peoples human rights all the time.and they are against it. So now they are doing what China does to there people. You do what we say take the vaccine or you cant work or travel. Where are our rights now Mr Prime Minister Justice Trudeau.
