Brief writeups for those who care.
Mavericks have to win this game or they are just totally done as a franchise and will need to start over and rebuild from scratch. In my opinion this is a must win for the Mavericks. They can not afford to go back home 2-0 after getting killed in the first round last year. I believe Dallas will get alot more physical than they has played in the past and it will work in their favor.
Spurs know how to play defense and that wins games. Steve Nash has had the flu for the past few days and is not 100%. That could be a stunt but either way it wont fade the Spurs. The will be ready regardless. Lets hope for our sake that he is really sick. The Suns should have won the last game so I look at it like this. If they would have won could they have won 2? I think no so I say Spurs win here by 7 or more.
Astros game is a real simple thing for me to cap. Now I could be totally wrong on this but. The Astros scored 5 runs last night then 5 more through the course of the game. They are red hot just like Odom. The Padres on the other had have lost 5 of their last 6 games and just can not produce runs. That along with the plus money value here make me lean hard enough to take them even tho I am not a baseball guy and have been focusing totally on the NBA.
I may have one more play later as I really am leaning towards the Magic.
