Triggered? Good word...  I believe it's the cumulative effect. That halftime show is a bad example to 100+ million people watching (imo).

And if it was 5 white rappers (which I'm note sure there are). I'd have the same opinion of it.

It seems to me the Halftime show went from trying to appeal to the masses to a smaller segment of society at least this year.

Here's the problem. Watching the Golf Channel today and Woods name comes up. Announcer references a black man named Charlie that I believe would've been 106 today, the first African American to ever play on the PGA Tour.

Woods named his kid after him which is fine. Announcer then goes into Jackie Robinson, says that Jackie Robinson at least had some supporters, I can't imagine what Charlie had to go through? So is he implying that Ben Hogan, Walter Hagen, Sam Snead, Billy Casper, Gene Sarazan, Byron Nelson and the other greats in the game made it as hard as possible on Charlie? Step on his ball in the rough, call him names, put dolls hanging in his locker? What was it? I'm sick of the constant reminder of how bad it was. Do you think the Germans constant remind themselves of what the majority of their country supported in 1940-45? I doubt it greatly.

There's no doubt it was fkd up in the US but I think we've come along way, had a black POTUS. How did that happen in a country that is still so racist? Seriously? Everybody gets along. People in the country are from everywhere and for the most part, nobody cares where you're from. person and Muslims get along here. Think about that. They seem to left the hatred in the Middle East.

Now, this is where I go wild... That implication is that everyone born before 1930 was a member of the clan and hated black people. It's absurd but it's always implied.

How the fk do they paint every white person as if they were part of a lynch mob?

When I grew up political opinions or positions had no part in sports, I mean NONE, it was about the game and that's it.

And for the record I didn't watch the halftime show mostly because I would've been embarrassed for my country, that this is a representation of American culture.
