The truth is I do have a sports pick business outside of Covers. But I did make up the part about People PM me to become a client. That's why I told the Mods to feel free to check my inbox messages, sent messages Etc. and if they find any evidence I have sold picks on Covers, then they are welcome to ban me for life. Don't you think if I was selling picks here on Covers Somebody would have ratted me out? Even if they don't find any evidence they will probably ban me. I've seen people get banned on this site for strictly freedom of speech and banned just for saying the wrong words. I am all for banning people who try to promote a website or if they commit fraud or threaten somebody's life etc. But banning people just because they say they have people PM them to become a client without any true evidence would be wrong in my opinion. I never said I was selling my picks here on Covers. All I said was people were PM me. So if that's enough to ban me, then so be it. Life goes on.
I like the Covers Site and it's great and all but I think people get put in re-hab and banned for the littlest of things. Covers is just losing clients and money by doing this. Covers needs to be more like Ebay as far as business wise. Ebay doesn't care if you sell bootleg clothing, electronics etc.. There's a ton of bootleg sellers on Ebay from China who have been selling on there for years. Do they ban them? No! Why? Because it's more money for them and their business grows to new heights and more raises for their employees. If Ebay banned people like Covers does, Ebay would be worth about half of what it's worth now! So these Mods and Covers linesman, no offense but banning people for a poor choice of words is just hurting the Covers.com business and future raises for yourself. You end up having less website hits, less recommendations from the banned users who since they got banned would never recommend covers.com to any friends. Like if I were to get banned. Would I recommend Covers.com to any friends. No! I have recommended Cover.com to at least 100 people since I joined. So in turn I am bringing them business and yet they are thinking of banning me. Is that smart business?
