I don't care who side you guys go with. Use common sense guys. If the guy is not facing you, you don't shoot the guy "7 times" in front of his or her children. If he or she runs "AWAY FROM YOU", you don't shoot him or her where it can kill them. Why not shoot them in the freaking leg instead. This happened so many times. Those cops have been trained to kill instead of to protect. If the suspect "runs TOWARD YOU WITH THE GUN ON HIS OR HER HAND", then no argument there. The cop has to protect himself/herself and shoot the suspect. To shoot the suspect where it can take their life must be the LAST RESORT. Those cops just don't get it.

 There are many people that have lived/worked/visited other countries. Speaking from experience is not what I would call "willful ignorance". The biggest problem is stupidity........that & indifference. Some people are raised to not GAF about anyone else but themselves. Many are born here, others end up here by other means. These people adapt to know where the "edge" is, & they'll push it. But yeah, if we don't shore up our security we'll be headed for that status.

not sure if you ever worked in law enforcement but I have..and you need the Three factors present to use deadly force...intent capability and opportunity. If the suspect is disobeying your direct orders then you have to assume intent could be a factor..now obviously if he’s running away then you can throw all those factors out the window as the situation has de-escalated. But in this situation you don’t not know what his intent was walking towards his vehicle and reaching into the vehicle which he now could have capability by grabbing a possible weapon. He then could have the opportunity of turning around with that weapon and blowing your head off. Now the 7 shots fired was indeed excessive which leads me to believe this might be the first time this officer ever had to discharge his weapon at someone. Signs of him panicking. When you are in these situations you have to think fast and he panicked and unloaded 7 rounds. Don’t know the history of this officer but if he panicked then he clearly should not be a law enforcement officer. 

Too much freedom of speak of this country and that’s why Kids are parents and that why criminals call hero. Can someone please explain if there’s no law or rules. How we gonna be able to sleep at night and let all these criminals walking a round the streets rob and rap your children and wife. So you can watch and can’t not do not about it. But hey he just traveled across state lines, while illegally possessing a firearm to maintain law and order in a state he did not live in right?
