NFL Week 7 MNF: PIT Steelers vs HOU Texans Second Half

I don't care who I wagered here - what we saw at the end of the second quarter was amazing display of patheticness on Houston side and real beautiful football Steelers style. Will the Houston be able to recover from this? The logic says - not a chance as it happened really before the halftime. The handicapper says - yes. It is professional sports and the ball will go other way in the second half as besides those 3 minutes - the rest were all Texans.

I wish but I don't think so C. Why at all you're taking a second half pick in this crazy game? You were tempted by an improved line compared to the game one? One way or another - I hope you jiit this one and hit it big, but I doubt it C

Phix  You were on the right side of this one just didnt go your way..Steelers season on the line tonight. This isnt the old Steelers team though.  They may end up getting this one tonight but both these teams look like good teams to go against in remaining weeks.  Houston has outplayed Pitt but self destructed and turned the ball over.  Pitt bringing back old players due to injuries.  New offense for Pitt not the big play offense they once were.  Houston Arian Foster had almost 100 yards rushing in first half.  Without those 24 points in 3 minutes he may have gained 200.  Houston panciked only down 11 should have kept running the ball with Foster.  A good defense with an offense that can hang onto the ball will kill them...Kind of like Baltimore and Cincinnatti for the first 3 games.  One of the crazier 3 minutes in NFL history in 1st half.

When I run all the numbers on the game and examine the games both played and the fourth quarter performances by QBs - I come to a conclusion that the Taxans are to be favored at least ATS here.

Excellent 2h call Phix! Still think the full game call was right as well, but the x factor was hou ability to shoot themself in the foot yet AGAIN.
Glad i teased them up and the over. I was lucky they scoored that garbage td without turing it over AGAIN.

The way the Broncos are playing with coordinated offense - defense - special teams and after Manning would want to show his record TD aftermath game - I believe the Broncos will once again open strong.

Old legs and first half miracle will play it's role while the Steelers after MNF will face the Colts who played their game a whole day and a half earlier. The Colts are not a "Qb less" Texans and will not repeat the lapse the Texans had in the first half.
